This is designed for a pond that is chlorinated and thus has nothing living in it, no plants, frogs, fish or algae to provide organic debris to get clogged in it.

My old pond sprayhead popped off and is now at the bottom of my deep pond so this replacement was needed. It is sturdy and fits perfectly onto my existing pump connector. Perfect!

This is cute when it works. It gets clogged very easily, several times a day. But once cleared, it's a cute little fountain.
