I bought these to use to close a cardigan sweater I bought and I didn’t really want them to show up-the cardigan sweater is black. I just sewed them on and it works great.

Needed a black hook & eye to replace a silver pair that was sewn into a black blazer from Macy's. Don't know what their manufacturer was thinking using a silver hook & eye as a front closer on a black jacket. The silver stuck out like a sore thumb if the jacket was worn open. So spent an extra $15 for a seamstress to make the switch. Thank goodness the jacket was on sale.
