Installing a Projector Lamp
To install a projector lamp with the housing, just follow the easy steps below:
1. Make sure the projector is unplugged and sitting on a flat surface
2. Loosen the screw holding the projector lamp module cover in place and remove the panel
3. Unplug the old projector lamp and remove it from the projector
4. Plug the new projector lamp securely into place
5. Attach the panel back onto the projector and tighten the screw

I ordered this replacement lamp on April 17 and received it four days later. I installed it without problems and, as expected, it smelled hot for the first couple of weeks of use. After 5 weeks of use, the lamp failed. It was only used for less than 25 hours total. As the one-month window to return the lamp to Amazon was closed, I contacted the seller for return instructions, as it had a 180-day warranty. The seller responded promptly and gave me their address in China. I packaged the lamp but the post office indicated that the cheapest way to send it back would cost me $28.75. Since the lamp only cost $37.00, I did not think it was worth the bother.
