Bought for my son. His older brother is fully into airsoft and has a number of airsoft guns, some modified, and I have been told by him that this airsoft gun works better than any of his other guns at a lower price. It works so well, according to him, that he wants to purchase one himself.

Directions don’t match gun. How hard is it to send specific directions with a toy gun? The directions say you depress tabs to take the Butt pad off… This is not the case this gun… after 30 minutes of scouring the Internet, finally figured out that you take the entire stock off on this particular gun… Only to find out that I ordered the wrong batteries for this gun… Why did I do that? Because lancer tactical doesn’t sell the batteries with the gun; nor did they tell you which batteries to buy for the gun (even on their website) How awesome is that? Bought an Airsoft gun for my son for his b-day, and set up a meet with friends only to have to cancel it. On.His.Birthday.

First airsoft, fun, still learning, I don't find any real need for Gen 3 functions. Semi is good enough for me.

The only con is you have to buy a battery and speed loader to shoot this rifle. It is great quality and seems to be very solid. My first airsoft but won’t be my last LoL
