I got this Landhoow Doorbell Transformer 16V 10VA compatible with Ring Wired Video Doorbell assuming it would work on my wired home system. I don't have a video doorbell in my system, just the old school two-tone chime bell so the VA draw should be minimal and sufficient. After replacing my existing transformer with this one, my doorbell chime just buzzes. I can't tell if the transformer is defective or if it doesn't have enough power. Not recommended.

I got this to try with my SimpliSafe video doorbell. I can't say for sure if it's the doorbell problem or this transformer, but I'll know in a day or two as I purchased this instead which has 30 VA rating per the requirements of SimpliSafe https://www.amazon.com/Endurance-Pro-16V-30VA-Transformer/dp/B07QF5GKG9While this product does work for the standard doorbell functionality, it does not appear to provide enough juice to my simplisafe doorbell.Measuring the voltage at the doorbell, I got 14.5 Vac and at the transformer 14 Vac without the video doorbell removed. SimpliSafe indicates a 16 Vac 10 VA transformer should work.
