I haven't used these a lot yet but they seem very well made, sturdy and comfortable in my hand. Good quality at a good price and lots of sizes. The plastic case they are in is not really functional unless reinforced with tape, but I didn't expect it to be.

Easy to handle, pretty, and completed my crochet set. I had all the small crochet hooks, but none of the larger ones. I plan on using the larger crochet hooks for some bigger projects with super thick and fluffy yarn. Will update when I have something completed.

These are well-made, solid aluminum; they work well for crocheting with super bulky yarn. Not very ergonomic, so if you have issues with arthritis or other hand problems you would do well with a lighter or more ergonomic set, but they're a good starter set of jumbo hooks. However, the hook labeled 9mm is in fact 8mm thick, the only difference between it and the actual 8mm hook being the color and a slightly larger barb.Pictured are a comparison between the thicknesses of the 8mm and 9mm hook and the "9mm" hook fitting into the 8mm slot of a tool used to check the sizes of hooks and needles. Not a dealbreaker for me, per se, but if you absolutely need an actual 9mm hook then you won't want this set.
