It did its job when we went to the beach but it’s a lot less functional than it looks.Anyone that goes in will drag a ton of sand in there, it barely protects us from the sun but it was a great “base” for us to put our items and feel a bit more secured than just laying our personal belongings on a beach towel. I would still bring something like this to the beach next time just for that purpose.However, it is on the smaller side so we added a weighted beach towel to extend the place for us to sit.My biggest complaint is how difficult it is to fold back to travel size.

I was so excited for this and if it wasn'tfor one flaw it would have been perfect. I don't know if I got an incorrectly sewn floor or what, but the outside flap is shiny side up, meaning it will reflect the sun right into our eyes 😞 It also claims it can be folded up when zipped together but I cannot find a way to do that even with the directions. It's very spacious and has good venting. I'll still use it when we go to the beach tomorrow, but will have to put a towel down over the outside flap to save our eyesight.

What I liked about this product was the packaging how it fit perfect in my suitcase and the pop-up on the beach. But to pack it up was not so easy, it was very difficult to break it down and put it away. I left it on the beach for anyone who wanted in Aruba. I will not recommend for a person not familiar with pop-up tents.
