I got this to store my beach hats and I'm SO happy with it! It's a perfect fit and having my hats in this box is so much more organized.Pros:+This is made with heavy felt that holds its shape and is still light enough for transport.+I love the peek-a-boo window in the front so I can see what's in there.+It's perfectly sized for my wide-brimmed sun hats. I think I have about 6 in there with plenty of room to spare. I would think it would be great for cowboy-style hats as well.+There are elastic straps on the bottom to secure your hats. Nice touch IMHO.+The zipper works smoothly, no issues.+The handle on top is secure and perfectly sized for my hand.+It comes with a detachable shoulder strap. I haven't used it and just keep it stored inside but I think it's a nice touch.Cons/Critiques.-None that I can think of. I'm very happy with this item and would recommend it to anyone with hats.

The color is accurate, and the zipper is good quality, but that is where my compliments end.I have been searching for a hat box for a while, as I need one large enough for big, oversized sun hats. My hats measure 18" edge to edge on the brim, and most hat boxes are 16-17". There were two measurements on this description, one on the photo that said 16" and one in the text that said 19". Where this is a softer-sided box, I had hoped that this would allow enough play for my large brim hats to fit, even if at an angle. Unfortunately, this is not the case.The interior measurement is definitely closer to 16" (my photo with measuring tape shows the exterior). That aside, I find the general construction to be lower quality than I would expect at this price point ($29.99 at the time of writing this). To me a "box" should have as much stiffness as my hats, but this is a very soft sided container that doesn't hold shape very well. The exterior edges feel unfinished, the top handle is very thin, and the included strap is flimsy. I definitely would not use this for travel on a plane or anywhere my hats need to be stored independently.If you want to keep dust off your hats in your closet, and your hats are small, this is probably OK. I just don't see it as a top quality solution or one worth the price.

Large brim hat storage bin. In the winter, I used to store my large brim hats in a drawer in a rolling closet storage bin and it was always a hassle to dig them out. Now they have their own place in my closet with this bin and they won’t get crushed or crumpled from cramming into a drawer.

This is a nice large hat box -- I have a number of fascinators with bows and feathers and such and I'll be able to put several in here without squishing them. But it's very soft-sided. It will work well to protect my fascinators from being damaged, but don't stack them, put anything on top, or expect to travel with it because it won't protect the hats inside from being squashed.

This felt hat box is great for storing hats on a closet self. Great replacement for multiple plastic bags to prevent dust buildup.It holds a lot of hats. I will need a second bag so I over filled for now. But the stitching and zippers stand up to the overload.I wouldn't use this for transporting. The only structure is from the items inside and there is nothing to prevent this smashing down.Also there are cheaper options and considering this is just a felt bag. I think it is somewhat over priced.

Lost a star because it comes folded and the folds are not going away. I have no idea how to get rid of them. Stability is also an issue.Great size felt zipper hat box with a clear front window. Soft sided. Base has some support but not much. I’ll be cutting and adding another piece to stabilize the bottom. I feel it could use more support in the walls too, not sure how I’ll solve that.

Very pleased with its quality and price. Can store hats securely. ,It is large enough to store multiple hats and sturdy enough.
