Why Sustainable Seed Company?
Sustainable Seed Company, founded in 2008 by John Fendley (aka “Farmer John”). Concerned that many vegetables he remembered from childhood were no longer propagated, John set out to find a way to protect and share rare heirloom seeds. In 2018, many employees of SSC lost their homes in the tragic fire that ravaged Paradise California and surrounding areas. As a consequence SCC partnered with True Leaf Market Seed Company in 2019, to continue offering John’s incredible line of heirlooms.

I am still harvesting and using it till now. It had wonderful grows and quality. Even though it became colder It still grow even after multiple leaves cut and use. I do not understand what people complaining about. Most likely they did not plant it correctly.

** UpdateAfter waited for a month I can finally see the spout growing. So, the seed is growing, just in slow pace, so I updated the overall rating. The growth rate might be from multiple combinations of soil conditions, water, weather etc... But I can finally see it growing. Now I just need to wait for it to fully grown and test the final product quality.
