Solid stopper, works on heavier metal doors as well. The thickness also allows you to use if you have a sloped entry way and outward swinging door.Kept one for the house and took one to work. I would purchase again.

We have an old house with large solid oak doors between the dining room and parlor. There are supposed to be wooden spindle stops behind the doors but until I make them, we needed to protect the paster from the door knobs. These wedges do the job, and are just soft enough to catch the doors and prevent contact with the wall. I like the large size because it provides a safe distance between door and wall. They are big so look at the dimensions to be sure they aren;t ovekill for your doors.

I've been using these bad boys for 3 years now. Prior to getting them I went through 2 other brands - one didn't work well at all, the other fell apart very quickly. This guys are quality and look as new after 3 years of duty. Happy I got them.
