I really, really wanted to love this clock! Pros: It's a big 24 inches across, with brightly colored sun rays and nice, big, easy to see numbers. Besides telling time, there is a working hygrometer and a thermometer - so it's very practical! It arrived well packed and protected, with hardware and a tool included to put it together.And that's where the pros came to a screeching halt.Cons: It was definitely a challenge to my adult size fingers to attach the four separate sun rays. The nuts and bolts are VERY small and were very easy to fumble. Probably worse was that a couple of nuts did not thread easily onto the bolts - but fortunately a couple extra nuts were included in the hardware pack. What should have taken no time at all took way too much time, but hey, I STILL wanted to love that clock!However, on closer inspection, the paint on one of the rays had already been scratched or worn off in a spot - and on the back of the rays, the paint doesn't seem to have coated the entire piece evenly - as you can see by my photo. The overall paint quality seems below average for a product in this price range.In addition, this clock is advertised as "waterproof" but in the description, it reads "with slightly waterproof design" which seems to be a contradiction in terminology.I am pretty sure this clock would not hold up to being left in the elements. The battery case in back doesn't even have a protective covering to shield the AA battery, leaving it exposed to humidity if you did mount it outside.Between the difficulty in attaching the rays with the teeny tiny nuts and bolts, the threading issue, the very poor paint quality, and the lack of actual waterproofing in the "slightly waterproof" clock, I cannot justify the $65 price for this item.

This is a sun themed indoor/outdoor clock. It has a single mount point on the back and is suitable for mounting on a wall.I put mine in an outdoor patio area. It required assembly. The sun's rays come in four separate parts, with two screws each, for a total of 8 screws/nuts that need to be tightened. I installed mine contrary to the product photo by putting the screw head on the front before realizing they intended the rounded nut to be on front.Either way, the end result is nice and the clock is well made, with silent smooth movement. All you'll need as an AA battery.The battery is exposed, so for true outdoor use, this wouldn't work. It needs some protection from moisture.The clock has humidity and temp readings. The temp is primarily in C, though there is a smaller inner equivalent Fahrenheit marking.Overall, this is a nice basic clock, and seems reliable so far.

This is a bright and cheery outdoor clock and thermometer. It It brightens up our deck nicely. It does require a little bit of assembly, but it’s fairly easy. It looks nice and durable.

I got this to put in my greenhouse. This does require some assembly as the sun rays come in 4 parts separate from the clock, and there are screws to put it together. There weren’t any instructions, but it was pretty straightforward. This took about 15 minutes to assemble. This does not come with a battery so you’ll need one AA battery handy. I used a rechargeable battery and it works great. The sun rays are beautiful and vibrantly colored, but it is easy to scratch off the paint coating. I was hanging this and bumped it against a counter and scratched off a little of the paint. It still looks great, and the metal that the sun rays are made of seems sturdy and comparable to other outdoor metal decorations I have. I have concerns how this would wear over time if it were outside because of how easily the paint came off when bumped, but this will be in my greenhouse so it might last longer being semi-indoors. This does not make any sound, and seems to accurately keep track of time, humidity, and temperature, and provides a nice pop of color in my space. This is easy to read and I am happy with the size of it as well. I think this product is a little expensive for the quality provided and assembly required.

You have to screw it all together which isn’t hard, just a little awkward. You need an AA battery and it does work accurately, it just doesn’t have a cover for the battery on the back which it looks like it should
