Quite a beauty this tree of life box is to behold, but confusion brought me to think there were two (2) ? Not only one? My mistake I am sure, but so anyone else does not make the same? Let me clarify, there is a singular large box, NOT a smaller one combined.Anyway, the larger shown is lovely, roomy for whatever you decide is to be placed inside. The inside upper portion bears a clear sheet of acrylic ( I think acrylic) that is suggested for a letter, or pictures. The sheet that was placed in mine has severe cracks in the sides that connect within the top, attached pictures to confirm the issue. Not a big deal I suppose, but after the miscomprehension as to the singular box, not "boxes"? Just feels a little off, not as enthusiastic as I was before. I love everything "tree, or trees" in relation as per my name attracts I suppose, but I think an arborist might be needed to fix the errors found here, at least for me that is. It is pretty, but very lightweight. Only the differences in expectations, and the reality in realism of all weighs heavy with me.I must say as does the price point, a bit too much for the singular I feel. But as that is simply one opinion? You must gage for yourself, and I encourage you to do so. Thank you.

If you are interested in getting a large wooden box to keep treasures in, this is the one. The craftsmanship of this 5.3“ * 8.6” * 11.7“ box exceeds my expectations. The top is designed to fit perfectly into the box. The outside has a nice antique-looking finish with a wax-like topper. The inside is clear-coated over the finely sanded wood. I don't know the type of wood used, but it's very lightweight. The Tree of Life is carefully etched into the top, and looking at the top from a distance, one can appreciate the artistry of the design. The inside of the lid has a plastic piece that will retain treasured photos.My husband of 48 years passed away in 2018. I have a few items that I have held onto that have a special meaning to him and me, and this is the perfect box for storing the little keepsakes.The box doesn't lock; I prefer a locking box, but that's my only issue.Full Disclosure: I received this product for free from the Vine program. When I opened the package, I was prepared to give this a five star review. Several small (perhaps nitpicky) reasons why I couldn't presented themselves. They include that the bright gold metal latch arrived scratched. Never a good start to a brand new item.Also, most imported items have a small packet of silica gel included to control moisture during shipping and storage. That also keeps the interior smell as neutral. This wooden box didn't include such a silica packet and could have used one, as there was a pronounced smell upon opening. Not unpleasant, exactly, but noticeable.On the plus side, the size is generous; it can hold a lot of precious memories. The slightly weathered finish could go nicely with various decor styles. The lid features a beautiful heart-shaped design composed of wispy leaf shapes with a distinctive natural feel. The design appears carved in to the wood, accented with subtle golden paint.This would make a lovely gift for a friend or family member with whom you share memories. You could include a feature photo inside the lid and a keepsake or two which are meaningful for the two of you. It could also be a special present at a baby shower to give the new parents a place to save mementoes of their baby's first year treasures.If the manufacturer went with a matte gold latch and hinges it would elevate it even more. The shiny gold fixtures are too bright for my preference.

This Tree of Life Larger Wooden Memory Keepsake Boxes With Hinged Lids and a photo frame inside the lid is beautiful and I love the wood scent when you open it. I actually ordered one of each style for 3 of my kids, but now I want one for myself as well. You can store a variety of items in this box. It's very roomy. My only concern is the delicate nature of the hinges, which may not be ideal for use with children. But it does look very elegant. Overall, this is a fantastic option if you're looking to store some special items. Being able to add a picture on the inside makes it even more special.

This box is just beautiful, it even smells nice and is really well made. I got it to start a memory box for our 10th anniversary and it was so much fun putting it together with my husband. It has a big place for a picture on the inside lid that stays in place with a plastic cover. This would make such a perfect gift for anyone sentimental

This box is very beautifully crafted. The etched/carved design is so pretty. The grains in the wood gives a cool look to it. Can be used as a storage box, a memory box, a craft box, a picture box. Super easy to put pictures in pr change out. Nice simple clasp. Easy to open and close.
