This product is not metal, but metallic coated plastic. Even so, it fills the bill for me.

Received plastic caps. This were billed as METAL, but clearly are molded plastic with a metallic coating. Plus they do not fit the 7/8 hole correctly, they are a bit small and do not snap in. Used some siliconized caulking to hold them in place. Otherwise, the faucet handles look better.

Fits perfectly and is chrome finish. I could not find anything at hardware stores except plastic buttons. Thanks to the reviewer who gave inside measurements they are right on. Why another reviewer gives low stars for “ too large “ is not the seller or manufacturer... their mistake not measuring correctly.

This is plastic so if it doesn't fit just right your can file the under bits to fit. It was a little big for my faucet but I filed the botton until the right dept and used super glue to keep it in. I should use stronger glue but it's honestly staying in place. Matched the crone perfectly.
