Seems sturdy and might have good airflow, but it was so loud on the lowest setting, I returned it. Customer service was fairly good, though.

This fan fell apart immediately. The handle broke, it started rattling, and all three speed settings now move as slow as speed 1. It falls over easily even with the feet installed, but the feet broke on mine so it’s basically useless! This fan is an affront to the environment, your wallet, and the Lasko brand. Shame on the seller and shame on the company for making such a garbage product and pricing it so highly! This fan wouldn’t even be acceptable at 15 dollars!! When I requested a refund the seller said “the best I can do is give you 50% back”. Shame! Shame! Shame!!Update: I have continued to use it, and now it's SMOKING. This thing is a FIRE HAZARD!

I am partial to this brand and have had good luck with longevity of products. This fan is quieter than the older models and very efficient at moving air. Easy to use and quite sturdy. Would recommend this product as it is for the floor a window or on a shelf.

What's not to like? Easy out of the box, easy to set up, powerful at high speed, quiet/white noise at low speed for sleeping, no rattles, can be used in the window with light rain, easy to clean.

Got it free shipped within 24 hours.Just simply plugged and the fan started running. Just make sure the fan is on a window with back facing the open window. Three speeds good enough to cover a room of 10x12 ft.Quality is good and sturdy.

I bought 2 of these fans. I use them everyday, mainly to sleep with...almost as a sound machine. They also work great for their main use...keeping my house cool and myself cool, I don’t use my air-conditioning unit...just open-windows and fans. I spent an absolute total of $78.40 for 2 of these, and overspent by $10.40. Long story, but I should not have spent more than $68.00 total for these 2 fans...Amazon and 3rd-party supplier / seller got a better deal than I did. The fans work great, no issues there, everything is swell...Lasko makes great quality products. I was not happy with the packaging...the 2 fans only came in the actual fan box themselves (see photos), no additional packaging...they easily could have been damaged in the delivery process...no (and I mean zero) additional packaging or boxing, unbelievable. It all worked out though, a couple very small manufacturer scratches on the frame metal, nothing too major at all. I recommend this fan, but paying more than $34.00 total per fan, look elsewhere...at least give it the due diligence to hinder any buyer’s remorse. Great box fans though, I recommend this exact box fan.

This is my second Lasko Weather Shield, my first one lasted quite a number of years and I run it all night most of the summer. Made of steel, not plastic, has feet that fit correctly to stabilize it. Makes a great floor or window fan. I trust this brand.
