This isn’t a bad set for under $10. The printing is inconsistent on the set I received. But the set is complete. You get all the pieces outlines in the description. The envelopes are made from a heavy premium paper. The set of printed forms includes one set that is filled out with prompts to use a an example. The tri-fold laminated reference card is sturdy and can be used for a long time. It also contains a lot of great information.As the form states… it should not be used in place of proper legal advice. For those who wish to hire an attorney to draft their Will, this could be a great template to prepare in advance of meeting with a lawyer, to answer the bulk of their initial questions.

As a person who just tipped over the hill (LOL), I wanted to seriously start thinking about my end of life wishes. I don't have a reference point for what this type of kit should or should not have, but I DO know what I would have liked to see, as a novice to this type of thing. They included two copies of the will itself as well as a demonstration copy, showing you how to fill in the information. Also included in this kit is an 8x11 trifold which explains the terms and, in my opinion, is worth the price of the entire kit alone. The information in this trifold is that invaluable!As a legal document, of course this will require witnesses and a notary, but what I would have LOVED to see is a QR code or some kind of way to download this as a file in order to modify it, since every use will be as different as a fingerprint. As with anything with this degree of importance, seeking qualified legal counsel is STRONGLY advised.At any rate, this is a great jump off point if, like me, you simply don't know where to begin!

2025/04 — I’m disappointed in this Last Will and Testament Kit because for all its professionally-produced materials the mfr. can’t guarantee it will work in my State — California! Well if I wanted to use an attorney I would have hired one young man! Can’t guarantee it will pass muster in California tsk. I’m going to give it to my elderly 80-Something friend for her to use and then have her call Legal Aid to advise if anything is inadmissible here in California. I doubt Amazon would appreciate going any further with my review than this (I can’t be seen practicing law on Amazon’s Review boards hee hee!) so I’m afraid I can’t update my Review further than what I’ve probably gone out on a limb to recommend already. Just remember: Legal Aid is there for a reason! ;) 4 Stars because the materials themselves are quite good.

This is a very nice cost-effective do-it-yourself will kit. It contains crisp and clear printed pages, two envelopes and a trifold laminated instructional guide to assist with filling in the information. The trifold information guide is full of much needed information covering many different situations. It clearly explains terminology definitions for an understanding of the legal process. I am very happy with this clear and concise set and can give it a 5-star rating.
