Love it, but he outgrew it fast. I wish I would have sized up. They run small.

Nice thick baby/toddler snowsuit. Now I’m a Floridian and got this because we do get a few cold snaps (and hard freeze nights) during the winter, but never any snow. I’m not sure if this is adequate for the snow, but it works for the 40 degree temps we’ve had a few times. It bought a little larger than my toddler and it’s huge on him, so I’d say the size is true. It’s a really cute print. I like it; very cozy.

We are expecting another baby in the family! Like me, my son and his wife prefer natural fibers for clothing and any other fabrics that touch our skin. So when I saw on the product page that this adorable snowsuit was made of cotton and insulated with “natural duck down filling,” I was so excited! Unfortunately, when I received the product, I was sorely disappointed.First, I must say that the design of this snowsuit is super cute! The navy print with its little houses and trees is sure to please, especially for a little boy. The pom-pom on top is a sweet touch. And the matching mittens and booties are both functional and appealing.Second, the construction of this suit, with its triple zipper design is ingenious! It allows you to open the front to easily slip Baby in and out, open one side to check his diaper, or open the legs from ankle to ankle to change a diaper. There’s a little snapped vest built in, so you can keep Baby’s chest warm while the front is unzipped. There are also snaps at the bottom of the legs to fasten to the booties to make sure the little one doesn’t lose them if they manage to slip off his feet. The suit is nice and roomy, allowing for clothes underneath and some growth. It’s also very warm and cozy (maybe a little too warm, so check baby frequently if he wears it for a long time). Elastic openings around the wrists and feet keep out drafts, and you can fold the little pocket over the sleeve, if you’d rather not mess with the mittens. The seams and zippers are pretty sturdy, so I think it should last for a full season or more.Third, this suit is washable. I came all squashed flat in a vacuum-sealed bag, so I thought I should wash and dry it to fluff it out again. There was no care tag, so I machine washed it on the delicate cycle in cold water with dark colors. I put the booties and mittens in a mesh garment bag to protect them. Then I tumble-dried them. At first, I put the suit in the dryer with the water-resistant blue fabric facing out, but the lining didn’t get dry. So I turned everything inside-out and tumbled it for about 30 more minutes to dry the lining. As expected, the suit fluffed up nicely and was no worse for wear—except that I found that the seam in the heel of one booty came un-stitched.The disappointment with this suit is the fabric content. I have been a seamstress for almost 50 years, so I KNOW fabrics. As I mentioned, there is no label detailing what this is made of. But as far as I can tell, there is absolutely no cotton in this thing! The printed exterior feels like woven polyester or nylon. The fuzzy lining in the legs and body of the suit appears to be polyester, as does the satiny lining of the sleeves. I saw through the split seam of the booty that it is insulated with polyester batting. I don’t know for sure what the pom-pom is made of, but it’s not cotton either.Due to the inaccurate information about the rest of this, I am not certain the body of the suit is actually down-filled. The stuffing in the puffy parts move around like down, but I don’t feel the characteristic poky-feeling of little feathers.I was expecting natural materials, but got something entirely different. The only consolation I have is that the baby will only be wearing this for a few months while it is cold, and he will have cotton clothing under the suit next to his body. If this were made of the materials described, this would be worth $30-50, depending on the size. However, since it’s almost all synthetic, I wouldn’t pay half as much.

This is a very nice snowsuit set for babies. It is fully lined with ultra soft velvety material. The front features two zippers for easy removal and diaper changing. The zippers are metal, so quite durable, but do not come into contact with babies skin. The snaps are p!astic, which is not as durable, but the neck snap could potentially come into contact with babies skin, so I understand why they did this. Good design. No co!d metal snaps to make baby uncomfortable. The sizing runs on the larger end of the range. Due to the fact that a snowsuit is a very necessary item but sees limited usage it is good that it is unlikely to be too small. The booties are oversized as well and this is good as it will allow for layering. Babies I hands and feet can be a challenge to keep warm. The booties feature a tongue in the front to keep cold and moisture at bay. The material of the snowsuit overall is of reasonable quality and seems appropriate to the price point. The color of the material is definitely red, but there is a slight orange undertone to it taking it out of the stereotypical boring primary red range. The pompom on top is a dark rusty red co!or. It is just a lovely color combo for a baby boy. I suspect that this snowsuit will serve both my grandson and myself well. Good buy.

I ordered this so my little guy can enjoy the outside winter weather. Seems to be true to size (though I purposely ordered a size larger than recommended, just in case). The suit is warm enough for reasonable winter weather. I ordered the red version and I was disappointed in the color. From the pictures it almost looked like it was red like a pepper, but instead it looks more like what a vibrant red fabric turns into after too many wash cycles--a little dull, *almost* on the pink side. This isn't the cutest or most attractive outfit, the best I can say is that it is functional. At the current listed price ($42.99) I cannot recommend this as a great value. This is competitive market segment and there are plenty of more attractive, cost-effective options available.

I got this for my newly 1 year old daughter that wears 12 month clothes. The package came vacuum sealed so the snowsuit is very wrinkled but no big deal. At first I thought it looked huge but when I actually put it on her it fit perfectly. It also came with 2 different size booties and snaps to hold the booties on. It is soft on the inside and definitely seems like it will work well for her first time playing in the snow!
