I installed this switch into my truck to trigger a relay, to connect/disconnect the power to my inverter, in my truck. So far, so good! Love the blue light!! Installation was a snap.

I used this switch for an Arduino project I built. It controls a 12 volt dc line carrying 7.3 amps. The switch looks good and has handled the load with no problems. Would buy again.

Nice. Glows enough to work as a weak night light too.. maybe too bright for a switch in abedroom though.

I am still working on building a Photo-booth and I need some quality buttons for starting the program. I am no electrician so I was surprised to see this came in a small plastic box with no instructions.I knocked off one star since I think including some instructions are needed. I don't want to wire something up wrong, but I will need to review the pictures from the product page to see if I can gain anything about what each wire does. The button is rated for waterproof, so I guess that will be nice in case anyone spills something on it. Looking forward to testing this. When using the button not hooked up to anything yet, I noticed it is Not a clicking button but just a press button. (No tactile feedback)

Easy to wire up and is really sturdy. I think this will last a very long time.

This is a nice, big button with a satisfying push feel. I haven’t tried the LED since it isn’t needed for my application, but the rest of it works very well. It didn’t come with much in the way of documentation so you’ll need to poke at it with a multimeter in order to figure out how to hook it up, but if you’re ordering this you probably know what you’re doing so that shouldn’t be a problem.

The XSHBGF brand “Momentary Push Button Switch 22mm 110V-120V AC/DC On Off Stainless Steel 304 Shell with Round LED for 7/8" Hole with Wire Socket Plug IP67 Waterproof (Green)” is a lovely $19 button but the description is confusing and lacks critical info.It has an LED, but what are the specs/requirements for it? I took an educated guess and used 1K for 12V (photo), it illuminated very nicely. The description includes “Dpst 2 Normally Open” which looks like a typo to me, I think what they mean is DPST/NO, meaning dual-pole single-throw normally-open. Basically a doorbell button with two circuits . They should include a schematic of this.I did not test if it is really IP67 waterproof, but for sure it is only waterproof from the dashboard side. It includes an O-ring for panel mounting. The rear connecting socket does not have any waterproofing. The connection lugs have holes that you could solder leads to if you want to encase the entire assembly in waterproofing without utilizing the socket.Stainless steel? I think so. The button, housing, and wires are entirely non-ferrous according to my testing with a powerful magnet. Some products claim to be stainless steel etc but actually are just chrome plated, worse yet with copper plated iron wires. This product is nicely non-ferrous.

Nice enough switch, but labeling is conflicting (& the only labeling/documentation aside from the engraved lug labels are the pictures & text on Amazon). In one image they show the connections as LED+ and LED-, and in another they say "Lamp voltage 110V-120V AC/DC." I was 99% sure the former was correct and the latter was wrong, but it's theoretically possible that it's a neon bulb in there instead of an LED, or even an LED with a little driver circuit that knocks the voltage down & rectifies AC, and I WANTED it to be true so badly -- would've made it so easy connecting the light when switching 120VAC & looked so much cooler! Sadly no dice. Otherwise the switch is fine & half the labeling was correct. I appreciate the stainless and IP rating, as well as the wiring harness. I did have to get snubbers to use this with an AC motor as the inductive load limit (4A) is much lower than the resistive limit (15A), but at least this was clearly indicated in the listing.
