Bought this product to replace a two year old Stomberg Carlson motor that failed , much quieter and it seems a little fasterQuality looks goodI guess we’ll see how long it lasts

Bought due to reviews...but thermal switch cut out the motor every 2 revolutions..would.pause forn5 seconds then start again..had to purchase a motor from dealer

Part was simple to install, with 2 bolts and 2 wires. Gears operate smoothly. It's definitely quieter than the factory unit it replaced. RPM seems to be same if not a little faster than the original. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.Update: After installing the motor and not moving the RV for 1.5 months, I attempted to raise the 5th wheel to connect to the truck and the motor would lift for 30 seconds then stop. If I press the button to continue raising, it would stop after 15 second and each press of the button it would stop sooner. It appears the duty cycle on this motor isn't enough to handle the lifting of our 5th wheel, with a hitch weight. 2,430 lbs. I've attempted to contact the seller through chat, submitting a ticket and email for the last 2 weeks. So far, I've not received a response from the web chat or my ticket. They did respond to my email with a "Please do let us know how we can help you today and we'll address it promptly!" . When I responded to the email explaining my concern, I've not received a response. I'm purchasing another name brand motor to resolve the issue. It's too late to return this motor and the warranty doesn't help if they don't respond, so this motor will be come an expensive paper weight.

They said it’s the model for a replacement, nope it’s not strong enough to lift the fifth wheel so we’re trying to find one that will. It definitely won’t be this one.

This motor works but it goes so slow it seems like it's not moving. It also stops when it gets tired of lifting the RV so you have to go and so something else before you can finish lifting. It does eventually finish the job, but start early because you will take twice as long to lift the RV.

I picked this Landing Gearbox Motor as a spare part to my RV 5th wheel just in case I ever needed one in a pinch. I was able to swap this out with the OEM one and after spending some time playing around with it, I got it installed and watched it extend the landing gear. Since I'm using this as a spare part, I swapped the parts out again and put the OEM one back on the RV and this one will be stored in the RV itself as an emergency replacement part. Overall, it seems to do the job well and fit exactly as advertised.
