Overall, the quality of the sweatshirt is excellent. It feels heavier and the material is of a higher quality than most of my other hoodies. The color is a deep reddish purple, which is a pretty color-though not my favorite color. I am in my mid-40s now so I thought it would be nice to celebrate it with this cute sweatshirt. I like thinking of my 40s as an exclusive club. The zipper of the sweatshirt seems strong and of good quality--so many times I have had issues with substandard zippers, but I don't think I will with this hoodie. The reason that I'm giving in 3 stars instead of 5 is that the sleeves are shorter than I would expect of a hoodie this size. I usually wear a size 18 and an XL in other clothes. Ordering an XXL should have been plenty big enough, but it's just a bit off--somewhat with the waist (could be a little longer) but definitely with the sleeves. I'm 5'8" so my arms are a bit longer. I hope that they still fit after a few washings. Being that it's not 100% cotton, I am hoping that the sweatshirt won't shrink much.

This fleece hoodie comes embroidered with "40+ Club" on the front. I don't mind the reference at all - be proud of your age! It is very soft and is lined with fleece for warmth. The red really pops! It's nice to have different color and different weather hoodies in your wardrobe for choices. This one is definitely made well. The zipper is a good one too! The Laura Geller on the sleeve in reference to the the woman who has a makeup line for older women is fine. It doesn't bother me either way. I would recommend this hoodie for sure!

This is a well made zip-up hoodie of medium to heavy weight. It is soft outside and inside and fleece lined. The color as showing on my laptop looks like a normal red. Not bright, nor dark. When it arrived, I found it is more like a berry red, but personally, I like that even better. The zipper runs smoothly without any catches. The hood fits loosely, and I think I will do better to put a ball cap on before using the hood, so that it does not fall over my forehead when wearing it without tying it. I like that the hood is easy to make it lay flat on my back when not wearing it. So many other hoods on hoodies refuse to flatten down and are always rubbing the back of my head. For me that is annoying. The embroidery all looks quite nice. I did not really know who Laura Geller is, but after looking online, now I know. Since I wear no makeup, her name was not familiar to me. At 60+, I guess I could belong to a 40+ club, lol. The pockets are of a nice size and my whole hand fits easily inside of them.I ordered this hoodie in the XXL size as I wanted to be able to wear it over a sweatshirt if needed for early wintertime and felt from what I read of the reviews that perhaps it was a bit small in sizes. The XXL fits nice and I will have room for a warmer shirt under it easily. The only odd fitting part of it are the shoulders. They are somewhat wide and stick out more than what I'm used to. The sleeves taper from wide to narrow down to the wrist, so they end up a bit snug by the time they get to the wrist. As for length, they might be a little long for me, but with the tight wrist band, that is not something that will bother me with losing my hand up the sleeve.Over all, I think this is a good quality zip-up hoodie and will recommend it. The price is somewhat expensive, in my opinion, but it is a heavier material and good quality, so I guess it all evens out in the end. I'm quite happy that I got this hoodie!

I am always looking to add as many cute hoodies to my collection as possible, as I’m always working out in the yard. I noticed this Laura Geller hoodie, which was also a zip-up, & decided I needed to give it a try.I am so glad I did.This dark pink/fuchsia colored zip-up hoodie is 60% cotton & 40% polyester. It’s a thick fleece fabric that is warm & fuzzy on the inside. It has nice deep pockets, a reinforced zipper that looks very strong, & silver toned tips on the hoodie strings. The stitching is mainly straight, & all seams are nicely finished. They’ve added great details, including the tan colored 40+Club which is embroidered on the chest. There is also Laura Geller embroidered on the right sleeve, above the cuff.I really like the look & feel of this hoodie, & especially enjoy the fact that it has a zipper. I thought I’d be wearing this just around the house, but after arrival, decided it’s much too cute not to wear out. Highly recommend!

As a Geller Gal, I was beyond excited to receive this Laura Geller 40+ Club sweatshirt. It is a gorgeous deep berry color, and so flattering on. True to size in womens, I am 5'7" and a size 12, the large is a perfect and comfortable fit for me. I have added chest and length measurements in my pictures to help, as I couldn't find sizing info when I was looking. The sweatshirt is substantial, 60% cotton 40% polyester, and great quality. The embroidery is beautiful, and the inner fleece is incredibly soft. I especially love the extra touches such as the sleeve embroidery, the Laura Geller ribbon stitched inside, and the aglets on the drawstrings are made of a nice metal with a little weight to them. It is such a warm, and also beautiful sweatshirt that I will get a lot of wear out of. The quality and beauty of this sweatshirt is well worth the price!
