Gets paint off the bristles very well, just gotta move your brush around a few times, but I was even able to get my brushes completely free from paint thanks to this product. The scent is very strong, make sure you like lavender scent before buying this product. The only complaint I have is that the paint doesn't settle. I had it sitting a few days and it still never settled like it would in turpentine. So there is no way to let it sit and then pour into a clean container. You are basically washing your brushes in a dirty liquid every time. I don't know how long it will remain affective but so far I've been reusing it quite a lot and it does a great job. Especially if you use brushes with coarse bristles.

I love this so much. I have been using it for years. Yes it smells like essential oils, yes it adds a little bit of stickiness, which I use to my advantage. Love love love love love. I wish I was an official brand ambassador.

I use this Lavender Brush Cleaner for my oil paints, and it really does a great job, and without the stench of regular cleaners. I have this Lavender Brush Cleaner in a tub with a metal coil, and rub the paintbrushes against the coil lightly. This is greatly for in-between colors, to avoid unwanted mixing of your colors. Then, for a final after-painting clean, I clean my brushes with Turpenoid Natural, rinse with hot water, and then condition my brushes with Jack's Lindseed Studio Soap. This keeps the brushes like new and in great condition.

During painting this stuff seems to clean my brush well just like Gamblin that i normally use. However, I notice that if i use it for a wash and wipe down the canvas it's very sticky. After i was done i kept it in my metal cleaning can. With Gamblin the paint has pretty much separated to the bottom by the next day. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case with this stuff it was still full of paint.I then made a big mistake and poured it into a plastic container which it ate through over night and on to the rug.Which has the most extremely strong smell like I smashed a whole bottle of cologne onto the floor....All in all, i will stick to Gamblin and have my air filter next to it.. This stuff isnt worth it to me.

Chelsea Lavender brush cleaner was recommended in an online oil class I'm taking. Now that I’ve used it, I’ve noticed it a big improvement over my former method. It cleans the brusher well and the oil in it keeps the bristles in good condition.
