I have not used it yet but put it together and it is pretty straight forward. The bolts and nuts to adjust and fasten the lift are 12mm and if you choose to use the power tool lift method I found a 10mm socket on an impact wrench worked great. The directions called for greasing the lifting screw but WD-40 worked great. Again I cannot talk about how the lift actually performs with a riding mower on it but I moved it up and down and it was fairly smooth. Hand crank works well and isn’t that bad to operate. With a lawn tractor that remains to be seen. But for less than $100 and I can’t complain.Side note: the item was poking out of the box and there was a paint chip on the base. Most likely poor shipping method. But it is a tool not a trophy.
