This lawnmower sure attracts attention! It is quiet - realtively speaking, and easy to set up. You have magenic strips to keep it where you want it, and it will not cross barriers (bricks etc).It cuts with three razor blades, and it is a bit slow. It does not cut in a predictable pattern, so it takes longer to finish a section, and sometimes misses bits as well.It is ideal for small yards like those with townhouses. For larger yards it may take several tries to finish cutting. (It is meant for up to 1/6 of an acre). It has large tires that enable it to manuever over rougher terrain, and it seems pretty durable. I have not had a chance to try out all of the features, but I do find it frustrating that it leaves a wide border around the edges and I still have to cut the grass after to get what the robot missed,While this is a great idea, and it has a lot of potential, I don;t think it is quite the right mower for my needs.

I was skeptical. If you have a flat yard it’s awesome. It mowed my entire corner lot for 5 hours. Then you just need to weed whack

Need more magnetic border strips. Buying extra strips is super expensive. Better off just laying stuff around the border of my lawn. Felt like I had to take out a loan to get 100' feet of extra border strips... And the strips can't be left out permanently. Meant for temporary borders.

I got this mower to help me cut my yard. I decided it was best used to just cut the backyard which is enclosed. The mower did a great job of recognizing where obstacles and edges were. I did not test the magnetic barrier. The mower operates in "Schedule" and "Drop and Mow" mode. I have it configured for schedule. I am able to create my own schedule in the app. It will not operate outside the schedule. I also have used it in Drop and Mow mode and it works very well for a self contained area. The battery life , after a full charge was a consistent 3 hours. Depending on the mode, it was able to go back to the charging base and recharge for 2 plus hours and resume operation. It moves very well in the grass so traction is not a problem. It operates quietly and appears to be very well built. It was very easy to assemble. I assembled the charging station, plugged it in, added battery and charged it fully before use. The instructions are well illustrated. I do wish it cut in a more consistent pattern. I also wish it was able to cut closer to the edge. The blades are under the body of the mower so that will be unlikely. As such, I still have to use my string trimmer against the wall and fence. I really liked the fact that I can take it somewhere and use the drop and mow function for a small enclosed lawn. I liked the fact that I can adjust the cutting height. The unit looks great and the bright orange color really makes it stand out. I REALLY want the charging station cover as I am concerned about exposure to the elements. It is not yet available. I called LawnMaster and was told to check back in a few weeks. The mower represent real value for money and helps me save time.

First and foremost, my primary concern was how good this robotic lawnmower was going to handle obstacles. I have my beds in red brick lining, but they are flush with the ground. Sure, enough it not only was aware of the brick linings, it even stopped a foot short of them when approaching, backed up a little bit, did a 90 degree turn pivoting, and proceeded along that path. Sidewalks were reacted to the same. There is one caveat. If you are living in a residential neighborhood, and your lawn becomes the neighbor’s lawn as far as this device is concerned, it will continue on. There is a solution, and they provide a magnetic strip that is 32 feet long that you secure to the ground with the included staples. If you raise the cutting height sufficiently it will not leave an impression on your neighbor’s lawn. My neighbor said they do not care even if it does. Anyhow, that is THE only caveat in the entire program. This mower is in no way programmed to do parallel mowing, like go in a straight line, then turn around the cross edge that line. It is more of a random pattern. One reviewer said that they turn it on, and let it run for 3 hours every day, and that gives them sufficient results with only a few small minor misses. So, now for those who have this and want a setup tip, I really want to share this with you. I was so frustrated after many attempts to successfully set it up, then I tried something different, and it worked. This will make sense to you if you go into the setup screen. With the mower mounted to the base plate, and your cell phone in hand, and your router nearby you proceed to the point where you hold down the setup button on the top of the mower until the blue light starts flashing. If you wait long enough it will finally connect, and the blue light stays on. Then when I went into the next step in the setup, and that is to sign into you Wi-Fi, then it starts spinning on your call phone screen doing a search, finally ending in your connection failed. Solutions are easy once you figure them out. On my fresh attempt this morning after holding down the reset button, and the blue light started flashing, I tried just going into the next screen. I put in my Wi-Fi name and passwords while the blue light kept flashing, and before it turned solid blue, and bingo it worked. Yippee. Now I am psyched. I had placed it into the charging station for a full charge right away as the directions stated. So, I was off to the races. I brought the base charging plate, and the mower outside and placed them on the lawn. I plugged in the base to a 110 outlet. Then I pressed the play button, and then the large center button and it came to life. It proceeded to do its thing. Impressive in how intelligent it was at avoiding obstacles. If you have a smaller lawn, up to 1/6th of an acre and don't mind it running for up to 3 hours, it will handle your lawn cutting chores for you. You will need a weed whacker to get the edging, and also for doing the minor miss it spots, but overall, this thing is an attention getter, and your neighbors will be curious. You can see in my third photo that the blade cutting height is adjustable on the fly so you can dial it just right for your lawn. It is quiet, and smooth, and it even returns to the charging base automatically when the battery gets down to 20%. It passed all the tests, therefore I have to give it five stars.
