Returned item. The switch in battery box did not work. The star lit up but when you tried to switch it off it stayed on. Nice package but no instructions. It had a switch for "timer" but no idea how long the timer lasted. If you get one that the switch works then you may be happy. I personally did not like it well enough to order a new one. I also felt the battery case did not hang down long enough for an easy switch on/off on a 7 1/2' Christmas tree.

I bought this without reading it is battery powered. But, that wasn't a big deal, just a little difficult to hide the battery pack.

We bought this for our Christmas tree topper. It’s beautiful and really tied the tree together. It was easy to set up, light weight, and sturdy. One thing maybe I missed in the product description is this is battery powered and doesn’t hook up to the Christmas lights string.

I was excited about this product at first however it runs off 3 batteries. It’s been 5 days and I had to change the batteries. I think it’s more worth it to just buy one that plugs in. It drains batteries so quickly.

Very bright, not as warm as I would like but I still enjoy it. The battery pack and small and discreet, very easy to hide within the tree. Not too heavy either, would definitely recommend.

This star is exactly what I was looking for! It is lightweight so it stays upright on the tree (fake tree) really nicely. It has a good base that stretches down to ensure the star has enough to hold on to. The light is a soft yellow/white-ish light. It takes 3 AAA batteries. Here it is shown on top of a 6.5' tall tree. I do wish it did not take AAA batteries as it makes the battery case heavy and cumbersome. It's on a short cord so unless you are tall (we are) and can reach it to turn it on and off, I could see that being an issue for some people. It would seem this would be better as an LED star. But besides that, the star itself is very pretty and we are happy with it for the price.

The light is quite cute but the only negative I have about it is that it’s heavier than expected, we had to use a good few branches of the tree just to have it sit semi straight and one small change to any other part of the tree and it moves or ripples off, with the battery box hanging off it also adds a little extra weight but all in all a good by.
