This is the best cork puller on the market. Why is the quality of the foil cutter so poor? You'd think the people in charge would want each of their products to be high quality. The round foil cutting heads fall out after about a dozen bottles. You can see on my photo where I tried to glue lone back with Gorilla Glue but it and another cutter later fell out.

Best “wine rabbit” out there. If you need to get in and out of bottles quickly like I do, then this is the opener for you. The foil cutter is also amazing. Best of all it’s Le Creuset quality! Cheers! 🍷🍷🍷#Alexa open my wine bottle

Ho avuto per le mani le imitazioni, ma, appunto, di imitazioni trattasi. Questo è l'originale Srewpull! Semplicemente perfetto, diffidate dalle imitazioni a basso costo!.

When you first see this, it looks like quite a contraption. But it is by far the best corkscrew out there! It's easy to remove the cork from the bottle, and then it's easy to remove the cork from the screw. Even for someone with weak hands. Five stars!

I had been having great trouble getting the corks out of a sweetish German Riesling owing to a sugary deposit cementing the corks in place. An ordinary corkscrew merely broke up the centre of the cork that then came out in crumbs creating a tiny channel through which I got a trickle of wine with added bits of cork. As I have several cases of this delicious wine I decided to get the lever-action Screwpull. Bliss! it yanks the stubborn corks out and stops me swearing as I struggle to get at my wine. Even corks, that I can get out relatively easily with a simple corkscrew, are extracted much more easily and with less effort by the lever-action of the Screwpull. There's a certain pleasure in using a device that employs the principles of mechanics to improve the performance of a task. The foil-cutter, that comes with the device, is a bonus and does the job to perfection and saves me from the risk of cutting a finger as I usually remove the foil with a kitchen knife.Though quite expensive, I do recommended the device if you drink wine from bottles with corks fairly regularly: it's a nifty piece of kit and it looks impressive.

This product was advertised by Amazon.com as beig in a wooden box. Unfortunately, it came in a cardboard box. The person for whom this was purchased as a gift did not know and said he was happy. Nevertheless, had I known that it would be packed in cardboard I would have continued too look for one in a wood box, like the one I have. I am quite disappointed.

Leverpull worked just like it is supposed to. Easy in and easy out. The only shortcoming is that putting it into a drawer is difficult since the wings expand when it lies in the drawer. A rubber band does the trick but it certainly is hokey to do that after the money you spent for the corkscrew. Nonetheless it works well and is worth the price. The Rabbit looks like it should work just as well but doesn't and doesn't hold up over time. The gears on the Rabbit locked up on me once and a second one loosened up to such a degree that it required maximal force to get the cork out. So it makes sense to spend for this leverpull.Breadboy

Bought this screwpull as a Valentine's Day gift for my husband this year as he has one in our apartment in Miami. The new screwpull is made of plastic and not nearly as well made as the model he has from several years ago. He used it once and the second time, it wouldn't open the bottle. He pressed down on the plastic top piece which broke right off making the screwpull useless. I contacted the vendor who graciously agreed to replace it but I have not yet received the replacement. My guess is like most of the products we buy today, they are never made as solid and long-lasting as in previous years. This particular model is supposed to be the best on the market; not impressed and would not buy again.

To cut to the chase, I expected better from Le Creuset. It works fairly well for now, but with all the plastic I'm dubious about its longevity. Also, it seems, "sloppy" in the sense that nothing feels precise or smooth or well-machined. When the cork is extracted, I can see the screw bend and I don't know how much of that it will withstand. But we'll see; I could be wrong. I'll update this as need be.

This is a light, well made opener that i hope will last longer than the cheap 15 dollar one I bought that worked the same way until it failed (I had it 3 years). It is easy to use, virtually foolproof, and by far the best wine bottle opener out there. Pricey but I hope that the quality is there for the long run. I'd rather spend the money up front rather than have to spend it again later for a cheap unit that doesn't work well.
