Didn't think these would be sensitive, but we tried on various materials and tested on items we already knew, and these sticks worked well! An excellent buy at a great price.

I got this test kit to test random things we get from big box stores and even Amazon. I'd love to believe that everything sold to me is lead-free but having peace of mind is worth the cost of this kit!For accuracy, I used a hollow point 9mm. I was very pleased to see that the test came up overwhelmingly positive! Next I swabbed the handle of a pan that we've been using (just the metal part and bolt heads). That came back completely negative.Using the test is super simple. Get the tip wet, shake any excess water, rub the tip on what you want to test and compare the color to the product label!

I tested these 3 times - one with something I knew had lead, one with something I knew didn't, and a third unknown. This proved that these are accurate test swabs and they're super easy to use! Highly recommend to have on hand!
