Birdseye is a tighter weave that is a little smoother and a little thicker than gauze. Gauze is a looser weave and quilts a little more with washing. Both fabrics are very popular and have been part of our offering since 1993. Both these materials have similar levels of absorbency and are long lasting, durable and stay soft wash after wash. The day weight diapers are made of four full width layers of birdseye or gauze and 1 layer of extra thick terry in the interior of the middle panel. The night weight diapers are made of four full width layers of birdseye or gauze and 2 layers of extra thick terry in the middle. This extra layer of terry definitely adds extra capacity without much added bulk. Prefold diapers are folded to fit and require diaper pins and a plastic pant to be worn over them to protect clothing and/or bedding from moisture. I wear these as I write this review. These are great, get yourself a pair of plastic pants, 2-4 safety pins 🧷 (I recommend 4) and, well put 'em on and you've got yourself a good time 😸. In all seriousness, these work great, feel great, even look great, if you're incontinent, or if you just like to wear diapers 🖐️😸 and you care about the environmental impact of disposable diapers, these are a great choice of cloth diaper. I do not know how well they hold solid waste, I, uh, find that uncomfortable to deal with on my own, however for liquid waste they work great, as long as you have plastic pants. Finally, the size chart is very confusing, I bought the 2xl beliving they would fit like one might on a baby, these cannot be worn on someone my size (57" waist) as a baby might wear a cloth diaper however, not even the largest size 3xl, the wings/flaps don't reach my belly, they do reach each other, however, and that works well enough, though it doesn't feel as cute 😿🍼

First of all very impressed with the quality and you can actually uy something made in the US. I am not crapping on others as many great clothes diapers are made in limited countries. But like one thing I noticed you need to wash and dry cloth diapers multiple times before use(every one has an opinion I personally did 5) these diapers started to show the wavey birdseye look after 3 washes where the other prefolds(made in Pakistan but good product) didn't till final wash.Depending on your size and build I would use caution with the size chart, per chart(and I tried emailing ADC through their site, but another company with same sized prefolds helped and I didn't try reaching out on Amazon) Says after washed Large max 52" they have a 48" measured and they were super tight almost was unable to secure. Fortunately we ordered an XL from another company which fits much better both charts say max is 56" in XL and tempted to try a 2XL but with the Large it worked quite well as a pad fold in a diaper cover(and a contender for daytime usage). Also if your new to cloth diapers your going to have to figure out what works for you like though we got a night weight still used a booster and provided a good daytime option.Besides the sizing issue which I understand the measurements though tech after washing & everyone is different (how folding could be part of it) was little frustrating more so when the Contoured one same max size fit great. But honestly the most frustrating part while we look into potentially switching to cloth diapers for home use, we tried going to this companies website and one unless it went to spam no replays to emails and the biggie, A huge difference was cost of shipping. Even though prices are slightly increased here on Amazon where we saved money was shipping we saved at min $25 buying them here. Yes the issue runs into if we decide to buy bulk(can't get bulk prices on here) from them but it made us little angry more so because even though bought here it's shipped by them so there shouldn't be that big of a difference.Though I do recommend theae and happy to see something of real quality bonus Made in the USA. Use caution with sizes like with assistance we could get a single pin or boingo in each side, but found though more expensive larger is better(can always fold to fit) also need larger if you use more than one , unless you plan to pad fold (fold in thirds lay in cover easy changes). End of day even with what mad me little mad still supporting a US based company and not getting cheap Chinese junk

This diaper is so absorbing. No more wet sheets. Saves on laundry, which saves my time. I also bought the wrap that keeps a snug fit.

Great quality product. Was comfortable, soft, and well made. But order a size up, my lil guy has a 38" waist so i got the one that says up to 40" but it was just a little too small, hopefully the next size up will be better.

These even held after I relaxed as a result of thinking all was emptied out, on the way to the toilet. So I will remember to rest, instead of just spending time watching just another short video. And with resting I can avoid times of, pressing for just more time watching things on the computer. With it being a good idea to also have LeakMaster PUL Pants, because without a waterproof layer liquid spreads. With the fit being as intended only after, a number of washings so waiting for the shrinking when washing on hot with the whites is needed.
