Each diaper has 4 full length and width layers of the organic birdseye weave cotton and a center interior pad of 4 additional full-length layers (i.e. 4x8x4).
Prepping - Machine wash in hot water with manufacturer's recommended amount of detergent. Dry on high till near dry and then repeat process 2-3 times. This is necessary to remove the natural cotton oils from the fabric before using, otherwise the absorbency will be limited.
Machine Wash - Prewash on short cycle with manufacturer's recommended amount of detergent in cold water. Follow prewash with full cycle wash in hot water with manufacturer's recommended amount of detergent. Use the extra water setting when washing all reusable incontinence products in high efficiency machines. Use chlorine bleach only when necessary and do not use fabric softener as it coats the fabric and prevents absorption. If using bleach, we recommend a second rinse cycle.
Drying - Machine dry on high. Use dryer balls for faster drying if you have them. During appropriate weather line drying is possible.

Very good quality. After 3 washes this diaper Fluffs up and is very absorbent. Works well for night-time protection, along with waterproof pants. A little "pricey, but does the job.
