This is a plastic and metal sandwich cutter that is used to cut and seal a crustless round sandwich with a decorative edge. It works best with peanut butter, jelly, Nutella, etc rather than sandwiches with meat and vegetables. It can be used to make small empanadas too, and it's great for grilled cheese; It can be pressed before or after you're done cooking the grilled cheese!Overall this is a very fun and functional item to make sandwiches exciting for kids. It is best if you have the smaller sized bread loaf; the large loaf slice in my picture could practically be folded over by itself in this item. You simply align your sandwich in the center and close it firmly. When you open it the crust and edges will fall from the sandwich, and the two pieces of bread are sealed up.This is great for school lunches, snacks, or perhaps experimenting with frying stuffed dough, which came out great! The item does a great job of sealing the edges of the bread together, and it looks almost exactly like an uncrustable. It is easy to clean; just rinse away the crumbs from the metal blade and move on. Overall it is a lot of fun and great for experimentation, particularly if all you have is some peanut butter, jelly, maybe some honey, and white bread. It makes those simple sandwiches very special!

This is nitpicking, perhaps, but there is one main shortcomings in this otherwise-fun product. The hinge is close to the pocket radius, so on the hinge side it can be tricky to get the two sides of your pocket to remain attached when opening the assembly completely. This is more true with wet or sticky dough for example, so extra care must be taken and it is cumbersome.Popping the cutting ring off to clean is reasonably easy, be careful but it is not an actual blade so it is not too risky. This is fun for solo use, if I were making snacks for more than myself (kids, for example), this might be a little bit too cumbersome so that it would take some time to make more than a couple of pockets. The price as I type this, about $8 to $9, seems a little bit high for what it is. Good value, not great value.

We have a lot of fun with this! Everyone loves it, all ages. We chopped up hamburgers and cheee and made Hamburger slices in them, PBj of course, ham and chees, all kids of fun stuff. The toddler enjoys it and even the teenagers.

Life saver. My toddlers are really into pb&js but specifically when they’re round. The best part, is my kids feel like they’re making their own food and helping by using this to cut out their food! I feel like this should be in everyone’s kitchen drawer! easy to use, a stellar price, and does the job!

This funny little sandwich cutter and sealer is so simple, in construction and use (and in the product it produces!) and yet not one single day has gone by since we got it that it hasn't been used. The sandwich consumption in our house has skyrocketed! I think partially because of the novelty aspect, but also because it's just really handy to be able to make several sandwiches that won't leak, or spill out, and for some of them, that don't have any crust :)Usage couldn't be simpler--assemble your sandwich (center your fillings for minimal mess), place in the cutter/crimper, and press down. There you go! I wash it up in the sink since it's so simple. Quality built too, haven't had a single issue with it.Pro tip: If you're making sandwiches with sweet fillings (peanut butter, hazelnut chocolate spread, etc), if you save all of your crusts and trimmings in a large ziplock bag and keep the bag in the freezer, you'll soon have enough that you can use those pieces in bread pudding! It's like a gift that keeps on giving!

I was a little too excited to get this sandwich cutter—honestly, it might be my best Amazon purchase yet! I’ve always loved those convenient, crustless sandwiches, but buying them regularly can really add up. In these tighter times, being able to make my own at home is a game-changer.This cutter is not only fun to use, but incredibly practical. It creates perfectly sealed, mess-free sandwiches that are great for work lunches or quick grab-and-go snacks. I’ve tried it with both wheat and white bread, and it sealed the edges beautifully so the filling stays put—no leaks at all! While there were a couple of spots that didn’t cut completely through, it wasn’t a big deal for me—it’s perfect for home use, and still looks fine. It’s also super easy to clean, which makes it even more appealing. So far, I’ve only made classic PB&J “uncrustables,” but I’m excited to experiment with other sandwich fillings too. And I just know my little guy will love these once he’s a bit older—kids almost always prefer sandwiches without crusts! All in all, this sandwich cutter is practical, fun, and totally worth it. Highly recommend for anyone looking to save money and add a bit of joy to snacks or lunchtime.
