This feels like good quality full grain leather with some nice pull up to the oils. I'm excited to use it on projects.

Great piece of leather. Super durable and strong, and a perfect thickness for making watch bands. My hubby's old leather watch band is crazy old, as it was passed down to him by his father, and so I didn't want to just BUY a cheap watchband. So after a few videos and tutorials, I made him a watchband using this leather. It came out amazing!! He LOVES it, and says it feels so comfortable! It looks fantastic as well, if I can say so myself haha! Would definitely buy this piece again.

This is nice quality sheet of leather, but it's not nearly as clean/flawless as their pictures would suggest. I appreciate leather's "flaws" and view it as character, but not everyone agrees and therefore there are parts of this that I won't be able to use (most likely making coaster and/or luggage tags). You can see in my photos the natural marks, with the close-up being the worst in that you can feel it quite clearly (this is after a little leather balm).

This is a nice piece of 100% Grain Buffalo Leather for leather working. It's a large enough piece for a decent size leather work project. The size and thickness are within specifications as noted in the listing. It is a good piece of buff leather that looks nice on the outer side. The suede side does have some markings and stains which will make it unsuitable for a project where that side shows, or may need to be re-sized to a smaller project using the finer looking portions. It is a smooth leather and would make for a very good notebook or journal type covering. With a 12 x 24 inch size, it can be useful for more than one project as well. It's soft and smooth and looks nice on the finished side. It appears it is pliable enough to easily work with. It also comes in its own protective tube which is nice as opposed to others I have received. I'm not sure how stamping would work on this piece, it may work, I will have to test that out on a scrap piece once I begin working with it. It does look and feel nice enough to make a watch band out of or perhaps a belt. Overall, it's a nice piece of Buffalo leather and would be great for beginners to work with. I would Highly Recommend this product.

This is a nice piece of leather. It’s smooth on the front and has a suede finish on the back. I really appreciate the rich colors and the grain pattern. The description says it’s 2mm thick and that’s about right. I measured it with my calipers and got 0.084 inches which is 2.13mm. I’ve seen Adam Savage use a sheet of leather as a work surface and I wanted to try it. Using it for that purpose I noticed that it helps protect the table underneath – if you’ve got a nice finished table you don’t have to worry about scratching it. The density of the leather makes a good versatile work surface because it’s firm enough to work on while being soft enough to protect your tools.

Either I got a dud, or others didn't actually unroll theirs to look at them... I think I have pretty realistic expectations (i.e. lower) for oil tanned leather, but this fell short. I value a rustic look with texture and character, but this just looks cheaply finished--there are a lot of scratches and blemishes that reveal insufficiently dyed hide, and I would expect better at this price point.I will try conditioning with some saphir renovator to see if that helps even out/minimize the marks, but I have never had to do that with a newly purchased piece of leather before. It is still a usable, large piece of leather with uniform thickness, so depending on your use case it might be perfectly acceptable. Personally I fear the fountain pen case I was intending to make will look cheap, so I'll have to come up with a different use for it.

This leather sheet is great for anyone who enjoys DIY projects or needs a solid material for tooling. The 2mm thickness is perfect—durable but still easy enough to work with. I used it for a custom leather pouch, and the dark brown color looks really rich and premium. It’s a bit stiffer than some other leathers, so if you’re planning on doing a lot of bending or intricate designs, keep that in mind. However, for things like wallets, belts, or simple upholstery, it works great. Definitely a good quality leather for the price, and the size (12” x 24”) gives you a decent amount to play with for multiple projects.
