Comfortable for xc riding. Already took a fall and they worked perfectly. No bloody knee.

Living in Arizona, I really needed pads that were going to breathe well and have the best air flow possible. Otherwise my knees would melt off. Luckily these are perfect for that. They are made of a moisture wick style material that'll feel great and keep your legs cool. That being said, if you're looking for ones that keep you warm.. don't get these. They breathe almost too well. Also, I hardly notice that they are there! So comfortable. 4 stars due to having to buy cold weather knee pads..

Very pleased with these knee pads. I have gone down several times and these have been very effective. The day I got them I put them on and dropped to my knees on concrete floor. No pain at all. It is nice that some of the holes do allow heat to escape unlike some of the other pads. With my build these work very well and do not drop down. Other than getting used to the heat factor these do not inhibit my riding at all.

Just got back from 20+ days of mountain biking. Good insurance, saved my knees a couple of times. Fortunately temps were in 60s so no problem with over heating but they were comfortable and did not get in the way

I'll start off with this statement: I am hard on my things.Pros:1. Leatt has amazing customer service, so if you do have a problem, they are quick to handle it.2. These are comfortable, light weight and breathe. I could totally see riding with them all day.3. I believe they would provide adequate protection if in a crash (I was never in a wreck, so can't speak to that, but liked the non-Newtonian polymer used).Cons:1. After putting them on 3 times (once to test them, twice to ride (2 hour AM rides)) the mesh above the knee protection ripped out of the pad. SImilar pictures posted on Pinkbike.2. They seem to run a little smallI believe the stitching / mesh ripping may be inherent to the low profile / slim design. These were super comfortable and I could't feel any of the usual discomforts from my old knee pads, so I image the tried to limit the amount of fabric and stitching to achieve these levels of comfort...
