Purchased this from their Amazon Store for our 2019 Subaru Forester Touring car and when it arrived, it was for the wrong vehicle. I sent it back for a refund and ordered it again, hoping they'd get it right the second time. They did. Sort of. I followed Covercraft's instructions regarding preparing the installation area and had little trouble installing the Hood Cover and the Front End Cover. We were pleased at how it looked and we drove it around town for a bit at speeds up to about 50 with little trouble. A few days later, however, we drove it on the open highway and were surprised to see the hood cover flapping badly at any speed over 55. The instructions said if this happens to immediately adjust the cover straps, because if this was not done the paint under the cover would become cloudy. I did so and used all my strength to pull the retaining straps taught, but it had little effect. Frustrated and disappointed, I removed the hood cover. On web I found tons of complaints for the same thing with the Subaru Forester and no comments at all saying this Model 551709-01 worked for it. As a last resort I called Covercraft Product Support and, after a substantial hold time, I spoke with a representative. I asked here if, perhaps, they had another model of the product just for the Touring model but she said they didn't. I told her given my experience and that of other Subaru Forester Touring owners I researched online, the issue was a design flaw. She said she knew of no Covercraft engineering changes to the hood cover for this vehicle and left it at that, except to recommend that I return the entire kid to their Amazon store for a refund. I asked about a partial refund so that I can keep the perfectly functioning lower cover but she said that was not possible. I reluctantly decided to keep the kit because the lower cover works well. In summary, I am 99% sure that hood cover advertised for the Subaru Forester Touring simply does not work. I'm also sure that from what the representative said, the company simply doesn't care to rectify the design. Very disappointing a company like Covercraft would have that attitude.
