I just equipped my garage with an NACS EVSE, thinking we'll just be a Tesla family. However, my son bought a car that requires J1772. This adapter is the solution that allows him to charge using our existing Tesla charger.This adapter has been a convenient fit. It easily connects our Tesla charger to his new car. I use it at 30 amps and 240 volts— I have yet to use it at a supercharger.PRO: The durability of the connection. Also, it maintains a stable power flow during prolonged use. It hasn’t shown signs of wear and continues to perform as expected.Overall, the Lectron adapter reliably solved my charging dilemma.Both my Tesla and my son’s vehicle can charge in our garage without the need for a new second charger.

Not a whole lot to report on but:Pros:Sturdy and great quality: The adapter feels very solid and well-made. The materials seem high-quality, and it gives me confidence that it will last a long time. It doesn't feel flimsy or cheap in any way.Works perfectly with my Tesla home charger: I have a Tesla Wall Connector, and this adapter works flawlessly with it. There are no issues with connectivity, and it provides a reliable charge to my non-Tesla EV (BMW i4). I've used it multiple times without any problems.

This accessory lets me access Tesla destination and home chargers (but not superchargers) when I'm charging away from home. I prioritize Electrify America charging locations which offer discounted charging for my VW ID4, but some hotels have Tesla destination chargers and that is mighty convenient. Those same hotels have in my experience also had free loaner adapters, but it's nice to have my own, especially if I'm at an airbnb or a friend's house. Convenient to have on hand, although I was able to easily get by for 2 years without it. I do appreciate that Lectron is a known brand that is also sold through big box stores. When it comes to electricity, I prefer to play it safe.
