This is a complete set of lights that is well suited for installation on a boat trailer. It actually may include more than what's needed in some instances. The center light for example isn't a requirement but a nice addition to improve visibility. If you only need to replace lights, the provided wiring harness may not be necessary. The product detail did not include the length of the harness, but when I posted a question, the vendor responded promptly. The harness is 25' long and of excellent quality. The harness includes a 4-pin flat connector that is standard on trailers without electric brakes.Though some reviews indicate these are sealed, this only means they can't be disassembled, not "sealed" as in watertight. This takes me to my only observation of how the lights could be improved, and seems a fairly significant oversight that the manufacturer could probably rectify fairly easily. The wiring goes through a hole near the top of the lights on the back as seen in the photo. Since the lights will likely be submerged in water when launching, the lights will fill with water. Though the components are IP68 rated so this shouldn't be an issue, there are no holes near the bottom to allow the water to drain out of the lights. Since the lights can't be disassembled, I can't see what's inside so wouldn't risk drilling drain holes to correct this potential oversight. Though the wiring could likely be sealed with silicone, I don't know if the hole for the wiring is the only place water can enter the lights. I can't help but feel that a ramp on the inside of the lights with drain holes at the low point of the internal ramp would be an improvement.

After years of dealing with the hassle of traditional bulb-style trailer lights, I decided to upgrade to this LED trailer light, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The transition was seamless, and one of the standout benefits was the ability to reuse my existing wiring. This saved me significant time and effort during installation, as I didn’t need to rewire or modify my trailer’s setup. The plug-and-play compatibility made the process straightforward, even for someone with minimal electrical experience. The LED technology is a game-changer compared to the older bulb lights. Previously, I was constantly worried about water seeping into the housing and causing the bulbs to crack or fail, especially during heavy rain or when launching my boat. With these LED lights, those concerns are a thing of the past. The sealed, waterproof design ensures durability and consistent performance, no matter the weather conditions. This reliability gives me peace of mind on long hauls or when navigating rough terrain.Beyond functionality, the LED light is noticeably brighter and more energy-efficient than the old bulbs, improving visibility and safety on the road. The sleek, modern design also adds a polished look to my trailer. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and it’s held up flawlessly through various conditions, from muddy backroads to highway trips.Overall, this LED trailer light is a fantastic upgrade. It combines easy installation, robust durability, and enhanced performance, making it a worthwhile investment for any trailer owner. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to replace outdated bulb lights with a reliable, long-lasting solution.
