Item did not come as described. No ground wire, just a regular electronic flasher relay. Same one I got from Napa

Almost all analog blinker relays will start hyper flashing when dealing with LED bulbs. The reason is the lower resistance. That is not only annoying but also looks dumb. This is the proper way to fix it. And unless like on my car where it's hidden behind the dash, it should be easy enough to access. It's just a matter of pulling the old relay out and put the new one in. This relay works as described and so far had no issues. Five stars from me.

If you have an older car that did not come with LED lights, the OEM flasher probably will often just hang because there isn't enough current draw to make the lights flash. So, you'll need a new LED-compatible flasher. When mounted with the factory metal retainer, this one has a click sound which is pretty close to the OEM flasher. Some LED flashers don't have a very loud click sound. This is the second LED flasher that I've tried. I had one previously, from another manufacturer, that would flash two or three times after turning the flasher off. This one does not do that but stops within one flash after turning it off.
