There is no on/off switch. Difficult to select the required color setting and you cannot maintain that setting the next time you use it (if you put the light on a timer).

I got this to replace a wooden base that my dogs ate, (😔) and actually, I think I like it better! The light is nice and bright and there are several fun color options if you don't want just white. It's easy to turn on and off and change the colors, just keep pushing the button. It's simple, but it works well and looks nice.

It does what it says, lights up the item on it. Works well. I wish the light portion was a bit bigger as the outer edges are not as well lit. The lighting modes are ok, it would be nice if there was a separate button for just white, so you don't have to go through all the colors. It's nice that you can plug it in or use batteries.
