Very surprised by the overall quality considering it's origin, but it did need help to get it to where it's now a nice guitar.Aside from the bolt-on neck it's a true copy of the SG ( I know, I've owned 6 of the real ones)I replaced the horrible plastic nut with a graphite one, the tuners with Grovers, a Dopro roller bridge, and filed the fret ends. Also the 3 screw truss rod cover with a proper 2 screw one.The main thing to fix is the location of the upper strap peg. It's useless where they put it on the upper bout (major neck dive) so I drilled a hole in the middle of the neck plate and put the peg where it belongs. It now plays well (the pups actually sound good enough to leave in) and adding the headstock decals makes it a funny "tribute".Actually got applause when I lit it up for a solo! So, if you're handy with basic guitar work it's got good bones, just needs a little help to get over the finish line to be a player.

Neck is straight as an arrow. Frets have room for filling and setting up to what you like. But the guitar is off balance when I put the strap on. So I have to move the strap from its position to the neck bolt as shown in the picture. This is where Gibson puts it on their original S.G. model and most others I’ve seen. It’s an easy fix if you have a drill, drill bits and a good vise grip or bench vise.

Gotta say, I was pretty skeptical... but this is the real deal, right here! Plays great right out of the box, pickups are sufficiently hot for metal without losing clarity when playing clean, the finish is immaculate, the neck and fretboard are IBNZ quality, the hardware is polished and precision... I've got zero complaints, this guitar SCREAMS! It's a little heavy, but you gotta suffer for good art. Not uncomfortable at all with a regular strap.Pull the trigger, Vai would be proud!

Plays easy, heavy, but the pickups are OK, and the cheapo FR also stays in tune! The lights are a good gimmick for gigging, I almost never turn them on. Actually, bright enough to hurt your eyes. But everyone should have an acrylic guitar, and this one is great, especially since it has no name on the headstock.

It's a $400, no-brand, gimmick guitar, so I wasn't excepting anything great, but was hoping it would be decent enough to pull it out for a few songs at gigs since it looks so cool.I was very surprised at how well-made it is. The electronics are organized very well, and the action on mine is very low. I'll probably swap out the pickups, but they don't sound bad.It is pretty heavy, but the body is acrylic so you kind of have to expect that. Also, the top strap button is not positioned well, so it is not balanced. Will have to put a new strap button in to make it comfortable to play. Looks awesome (just like the pics), and was packed very well.
