The item was NOT as described. It does not have a port plug-in on the sign itself. And that is why I purchased it. Two others that I purchased did not have a port for the wires and were very flimsy, and both of them broke within weeks. I figured this one would have a less chance of breaking. I wrote the seller concerning this, and they told me to keep it and refunded me.
