This item significantly lights up the sewing area on my sewing machines. I bought one each for 2 machines and I love them. I read a review that said the adhesive doesn’t work well. I purchased Duck Max Strength Double Sided Gel Tape, cut strips to fit and glued to my machine. It works perfectly. I do a lot of quilting and the seams must be precise. The extra light is great to keep me on track. I highly recommend!

Comes with mounting tape and clips. Easy to install. Light has dimmer switch and I love that feature.

The light strip does not stick well nor STAY on the machine. I cleaned the machine as directed. The light stuck to the machine for a half an hour. The dimmer switch is huge and you are limited how to mount it. The light strip started to fall while sewing a project. The lights are not cool to touch and I wasted 30 bucks on this product. NOT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY!I will have to go back to the round gooseneck. At least that lasted for two years.
