This will replace an orange vest like construction workers wear. These include multiple setting for always on to blinking lights in multiple color options. And you can choose a different option for the front light than the back light. The second vest will serve as a back up in case first runs out of juice while out.I prefer the customizing nature of dual lights and having a light to begin with over the non-light orange construction worker vest. However, this does not have any pockets.

The vest is quite visible even with the LED's turned off with a reflective stripe in the middle of the harness, once you turn on the LED's you become reportable as a UFO Landing Event. There is no doubt you are seen while walking on the side or crossing the road so many colors with steady or flashing in each color. I'm a big guy (4XL) and it easily stretches around me at the largest adjustment, the waist belt buckle which is difficult to snap and unsnap which doesn't seen very robust which is my only worry. I wish the instructions were better as there were none and I wish there was some state of charge indicator as I have no idea how long a charge will last or how long a recharge takes. I'll have to take a long walk and see how long a charge lasts on nice night. I would definitely recommend buying this Item again it will be easy enough to figure out anything needed even if the buckle doesn't last.

Pros: The straps are reflective as well as the lights, which is great in case the battery dies in the middle of a run. The straps are adjustable so it should fit most people. There is a release clasp so you don’t have to mess with your adjustments every time you put on or take off the vest. You can choose what color lights you want in the front and back independently of each other. You can have the lights be solid or flashing.Cons: The straps are designed for the big hairy guy on Umbrella Academy. The waist has a standard variance and the straps that go over your shoulders are very long. The pictures show the straps are almost as small as I can make it. Blue and green is a light color option. I consider this a con because at zero-dark I have come upon a platoon of people in camouflage on a road with no lights that had nothing but blue chemlights as a warning to drivers. The only reason that I did not plow into them was that there was a vehicle ahead of me that I saw swerve in the road. I did not see what they swerved for until I was less than 20 feet away. By that time I had slowed down and was actively looking for something in the road. Don’t use blue, and I’m sure green is not too different at night.
