After plugging this in, the light remained bright only for about 4 weeks or less. I will need to spend the money to buy an OEM product because this one is not reliable. I’m likely to get pulled over for a traffic violation. It looks like my rear brake light is out.

2013-2017 Cadillac XTS...install is a little tricky, but not hard. Pull back the trunk liner (carpet) away from the wall, Remove the 3 8mm screws, CAREFULLY pull out the light assembly, then replace LED unit. You can also access it without taking off the entire assembly from under the rear bumper. Locate the LED unit, unplug harness, twist it out. Installation is reverse of that. Unit fits just like OEM. Much less expensive than replacing the entire assembly like the dealer tells you is required.
