I purchase 20 of these lights. They look great and the built quality is good.The lights pulse when dimmed. The listing on Amazon says they are dimmable. If the light pulses, this is not dimmable.Wrote the manufacturer an email and never received a reply so I give it 1 star.

These 15watt track lights are heavy duty and made with an excellent grade aluminum that conducts heat well.They offer 12-60 degree light spread and a Kelvin temperature of 4000 degrees(white). They give up 1000 Lumens and are bright. When fully extended they are 8" long by 2" circumference.Additional nice features are:1) They can be dimmed2) Aperture size can be adjusted with front focus ring3) 3 year warrantyThey look and function great!

These are great lights with the focus adjusting ring to reduce or increase the spot light. I thought they would be great for accenting our wall and art in the stairwell but cannot find a light dimmer that can properly dim the lights without causing a very disturbing pulsating brightness (lights go dim and then brighter), very irritating. I have tried 2 different high quality dimmers, but same results. Don't want to but another $40 dimmer unless I know it will work. The product states the lights are dimmable but gives you no information about what type of dimmer to use. I tried the manufacturer but no support. So, if you can use the lights without dimming, than they are great, otherwise, be careful.

I ordered these heads to add to my current ones, as I wanted the ability to have a spot area from my H track. These LED heads are solid and nice and compact. The zoom feature is not really a zoom spot but more of a narrow beam and the LED is not strong enough or focused enough to throw any distance. They do dim well and if you are using these for short distance throws or want the wide beam part they will work well, just not for my use.
