I have an outdoor cabinet I use for pool chemical storage. These chlorine chemicals are brutal on anything metal and completely ate my previous cabinet. I bought a new cabinet that is All Plastic Except for some screws and 3 metal bars that reinforce the shelving. So I got this resin, mixed it up 2 oz total (1 oz each) and applied it with a disposable chip brush to protect the metal parts that are exposed. If this works, the cabinet will last longer than I will. Very nice that this is a complete kit including mixing cups, sticks and gloves.Being careful to mix exactly 1:1 by volume - Hardener First (bottles are only labeled A and B - only in the instructions is this clarified which bottle is which). I prepared a water bath which was 120 degrees per instructions while stirring for 3-5 min in a disposable plastic cup. After all my dabbing with a paint brush - the remainder settled perfectly clear with No Bubbles.

A Solid Resin, But Pricey for What It IsSummary: If you're into DIY crafts, jewelry making, or just looking to coat a table with a glossy finish, the LEEYA Resin Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin Kit has certainly got you covered. It works as advertised, and I've had no issues with the application or results. However, when it comes to the price point, I do have a few thoughts—so let’s dive into it.Pros:Crystal Clear Finish – After curing, the resin is bright and glossy, exactly what you'd expect from a top-quality epoxy.Self-Leveling & Bubble-Free – I found that it did an excellent job of minimizing bubbles, which can be a hassle with other products.User-Friendly Kit – Everything you need is included in the box: resin, hardener, measuring cups, sticks, gloves, and a user manual. No additional purchases needed!Wide Application Range – You can use it for crafts, woodwork, table coatings, jewelry, flower preservation, and more.Low Odor & Non-Toxic – I appreciate that it’s safe enough to use around food surfaces and doesn’t stink up the room like some other resins.Cons:Pricey for the Quantity – At $69 for a gallon, it’s more than double what I usually pay for epoxy resin. While it works well, I don’t see enough of a difference to justify the cost.Lack of Certification for Food Safety – The product claims to be food-safe, but there’s no information on the source or certification for this. I’m a little skeptical about taking that claim at face value.Limited Special Features – Aside from the self-leveling (most are) and bubble-free (yeah, right!) qualities, it doesn’t offer much more that you won’t find in other resins at a more affordable price. The Details:I’ve used a lot of different epoxy resins over the years, and the LEEYA resin is definitely up there in terms of quality. It’s easy to mix, and the 1:1 ratio is simple to follow, which is great for someone like me who likes to get the job done without any hassle. The self-leveling aspect makes the whole process a lot smoother. As for the glossy finish, it truly shines once it cures. The result is the perfect glossy top for everything from a piece of jewelry to a tabletop. My only gripe is that at over $60 for a gallon, I can't help but wonder if I could find the same quality for a better price. Yes, it's nice to have a non-toxic, low-odor option, but I’ve found other products that claim the same at a fraction of the cost.In terms of its long-term performance—like the resistance to yellowing—I’m not yet convinced it's any better than the cheaper options. But time will tell, and I’ll update this review if it ends up proving itself in that area.Rating: 4/5While the LEEYA Resin does a great job, I can’t ignore the price tag. It's a solid performer, but I feel like it’s priced a little high for what it offers. If you're willing to pay a premium for quality and peace of mind, this resin is a good choice. But for the budget-conscious DIYer, there are definitely other options out there that could serve your needs just as well at a better price.

I have not used the epoxy yet but they sent me much more than I expected, like mixing cups stiring sticks plastic aprons and spatulas. The instructions were very good.
