This is a decent hip pouch, but loses a star because the zipper on the front flap is purely decorative. It's not an exterior pocket at all. What's the point of that??

The good-- Inexpensive- Fits leg well and has lots of adjustment- Good amount of storage room without being too bulky- Breathable mesh means it will stay comfortable for longer- Comes with clip on water bottle pouchThe bad-- Water bottle pouch is kind of small and makes the bag a little awkwardOverall, a 5 star product in my eyes. The water bottle pouch did not fit any of my water bottles, but even if it didn't come with it I wouldn't mind paying the price of 25 bucks for it.

Built of quality material, the stitching is great, all of the fasteners are solid, it is extremely functional, it is an excellent size for day hikes, EDC kit, first aid kit. Designed very well with lots of versatility all while being very reasonably priced.

Of course I ride a motorcycle and I started off with a backpack. Summers are very hot here in Az so I switched to a fanny pack for riding. Well, I decide to upgrade to a leg/thigh bag since a fanny pack that I have is limited in what I can carry. Even though this upgrade is also limited but has more room to store a few more essential items and I don't have to worry about something sitting behind me like a fanny pack. Have to say this thigh bag is perfect, well worth the money and it also has a drink carrier that comes with it. A++ for this product. Definitely would purchase again if needed or recommend to anyone.

Vine Review11/10/2024 - First Impression:Received the Khaki color. Color in product page is accurate. Relative position of waist and leg belt is perfect to fit firmly and comfortably. Belt diameter is adjustable and stays locked in place. The quantity, location, size and closure type of all the pockets is perfect for carrying field tools/equipment. Didn't try running a razor blade against it, but it's definitely a tough, durable and sufficiently stiff/thick nylon to preserve shape (not like a thin backpack). Stitching is quality and the seams shouldn't tear. Water bottle pouch can easily fit a standard pint size water/soda bottle and even the wider Gatorade bottles. There's a flap that covers the bottle pocket, but there's a large opening on the flap which defeats the whole purpose to keeping the bottle from falling out. But there is a cinch cord at the top of the bottle pocket that should be sufficient to keep the bottle in. There's a zippered front pocket that will [barely] fits a 6-1/8" long phone (plenty wide & thick to fit any phone). Perfect for active field work without needing to wear a Molle vest. Side against the body is soft/padded and meshed for ventilation. Great price for a highly functional, quality bag.

The bottle bag rides along on with the bag by connecting it to a D-Ring on either side of the main bag.This makes it good for comfort on either leg, because there is a D-Ring on either side, so - for comfort, just carry along your water bottle, etc. for travel, or walking around.I would not have it on the D-Rin while riding, no need to have a water bottle bouncing around in the wind, but when I get to where I am going - and I am using the water bottle bag too, I would then strap it on to the main drop leg bag D -Ring.The main bag is great with a draw string closure, you "could" use it for tactical carry, but I would use it primarily as a bag to hold my stuff, and have that tightened up with the string closure to keep things neat. My primary purpose would be as a camera pouch for going out and shooting some video.Keeps everything handy, without having to carry an additional camera bag if you travel nice and light.Nice bag - I like it quite a bit!Five Stars!
