This exercise machine works fine I guess. It didn't provide quite the workout I was hoping for, but it is a kind of work out. Aerobic anyway with a little resistance. Not the same as doing regular squats.The frame is all steel tubing. It feels sturdy. I'm 240 lbs and it held me fine. It feels like it should fold down flat for storage but I couldn't get it to once assembled.Also to note, the seat is very narrow and hard. It is extremely hard on the back side and uncomfortable. You couldn't replace it with a regular bike seat, it would have to he specially marketed for a unit like this. A removable padded cover for a bike seat might be helpful.

Nice and strong, it doesn’t trip or move. Very stable and fun to do the exercise. Easy to setup or put it away. It’s kind of adjustable to store.

UPDATE: After looking at similar models with tension bands for resistance and a better workout, I saw how easy it is to add my own rather than junking this piece of equipment. And yikes does it make a difference! I simply added my own arm bands to the front as I had seen on other models. I looped and tied a different band to the seat and back legs and voila! I have a more effective, more challenging but still low impact workout machine I enjoy using. I do plan to find a better band for the back, the one I'm using is a little flimsy and liable to snap any day, but I like this machine so much better now! 😀 4 stars because the manufacturer should have included these at this price point and I still didn't like the tedious assembly. Which btw was partly due to having recently purchased another piece of equipment from this brand that was usable straight out of the box. Guess I'm just feeling a little spoiled after that. 😂ORIGINAL: I'm always on the hunt for simple yet effective ways to get in a good workout. Unfortunately this ain't it. Now I don't know who needs to hear this but 45 minute assembly ain't the business for any product in my opinion. You basically have about 5 parts to attach, the legs, foot pedals, handle bars and seat. Sounds simple enough but reading and deciphering directions, matching parts etc is a tedious task I typically don't like. Anything that requires more than 20 mins assembly is generally not for me. However, I took the time -yes a full 45 minutes to put this together, hopped on and immediately regretted the time, energy and money spent. (Nothing in life is ever actually free!) The product is solid, made from strong durable material and assembly is fairly easy although time consuming, but what muscles is it actually working? When I pulled the bars back and pressed my legs down I thought I was going to launch myself straight to the moon! No resistance what so ever! After 10 minutes no part of my body actually felt worked out and I was rather bored with the exercise. And if I'm being totally honest, if this were something I could return (no returns in this program) then I would. I have no use for it, I got no workout from it and now it will probably just sit in my home gym and collect dust for at least the next 6 months. If you are looking for something with zero impact, then go for it! Stars are for quality construction only and that's being generous considering the lack of usefulness the value is irrelevant.

I had been eyeing those 'method' trainers, so when this popped up, I decided to give it a try. Setting it up and using it was a breeze! It took less than an hour to get it all set up, and I'm very impressed by the build quality, which is sturdy. It also easily folds up to save space when not in use. This machine provides a full workout experience, just as I expected (and hoped). Great quality machine at a bargain price - highly recommend!

Super easy to use and easy to put together. Took me about 45 minutes top. Strong and sturdy design... This machine works exactly as expected giving body a full workout. Superb value for the money with a 330lb weight limit.
