Good weather proof box! It was larger than I had expected and I did not use it in the end, but it was what I was looking for. I need to measure better. It came as described.

Fit & finish ... Very clean. Good seal for clear face mounting to seal in the body. This would be a great solution it a device with a gauge or indicator was placed inside since the face is clear. The corner screws are plastic so no risk of degraded metal components.2 SRCs included for round wire.I would be careful to avoid placing in a traffic patters. Suspect a big blow could damage or break the plastic. Use common sense. This is a perfect solution for my need. Adding a light fixture below a deck that drips water. Perfect!

Overall I like this box for low-risk situations. The acrylic cover is likely more prone to cracking than ABS or PVC in high traffic areas, but this isn't a concern if it's installed out of the way. The captive screws in the lid make installation a breeze. You will need to drill out the cable gland entry points... there are no molded pop outs or box fittings like a standard conduit electrical box would have. This wasn't an issue for me. Make sure to shave, cut or otherwise remove melted plastic from the surface of the holes you drill, I followed my drill holes with an metal blade oscillating tool flush on the inside and outside of the box. Failure to do this will almost certainly cause the gland grommet to leak. When installing glands, I watch the grommet closely. The idea is to crush but not deform the grommet. For the included grommets, that was about an 1/8th - 1/4 turn past hand tightened. One of the gland threads gave out at this torque, so I replaced both with glands I already had lying around. They should hold at exactly the right torque, but going even slightly beyond that might strip these glands. The ABS glands I replaced the included (PVC?) ones with can easily survive an extra half rotation, so. if you're project critically cannot get wet, I might replace the glands that are included with this kt.Still, with a little work these are nice boxes.

I haven't finished hooking everything up yet, and will update the review with photos once I have everything finished. This box is well constructed, heavy duty and is exactly what I expected it to be. I would recommend this to anyone.

Does exactly what it says it does. This is a conscious choice over one that has a door that opens. Perhaps you want to install a LoRa radio in a place where you want to prevent tampering – this requires tools to seal shut and to open again. Gasket seems good. Careful with the drilling so that you don't open up a hole bigger than the feeder gaskets.

I obtained this for an electrical project for one of my shop vacuums that was originally mounted in a larger case that didn't fit the top of my vacuum. This enclosure appears to be solidly cast, with no flimsy feel. The transparent lid is nice for interior status lights or viewing switch/breaker positions without having to remove the lid. The plastic was easy to drill without me having to worry about cracking the plastic. The included cable glands were nice to have, although I ended up using different sized glands for this project. I was able to utilize the two brass inserts in the bottom interior to attach a makeshift plastic mounting bracket for the electrical components for the project.Overall, I am very happy with this enclosure and how this turned out.
