I have been a fan of The Peanuts since I was a child in the mid 1960s reading the comic strips and watching the television specials every year at Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am not a collector but wanted to get this plate set to maybe share with grandchildren and to pass on to another generation one day. The plates are durable porcelain, intended for everyday use. They are microwave and dishwasher safe and should last for years and years.The plates are mass produced with decal applied artwork. Each plate is 8 inches in diameter and is perfect for child sized servings or as a desert plate. The set includes the same image mirrored with Snoopy and Woodstock facing left on two plates and facing right on the other two. The imagery is bright, colorful and smoothly applied. I closely examined each plate and did not see any cracking of the images or flaws in the plate surface front or back. The rim of each plate is smooth and and features black detailing that enhances the imagery.Some reviews indicate items damaged in shipment but my set arrived in perfect condition. The plates came in a nice Lenox Chef Snoopy outer box. Inside that was a sturdy corrugated cardboard box that snugly holds the 4 plates. Each plate is further protected by corrugated cardboard padding between one plate and the next. I hope that my pictures show you the care Lenox takes in packaging. The Lenox box was shipped in a slightly larger Amazon cardboard box that only had minimal padding. Any damage would likely be a result of the Lenox box moving in the outer Amazon packaging.The set of 4 plates sells for $39.89 as I write this review. That price is the same or lower than I found on other major retailers. The Lenox Chef Snoopy collection has other items such as bowls and cups that can be purchased in sets of 4 . Lenox also offers a 12 piece set with 4 bowls, plates and cups. Amazon currently has that set selling for $79.79. I like the set of plates but kind of wish I had ordered the full 12 piece set.

Our adult daughter loved Snoopy growing up. She even has a small dog she named Snoopy. Now in her mid 40's, she has 2 kids and her youngest daughter just turned 6. Currently on a dragon kick, she just had her 6th birthday and these plates were perfect to hold small snacks (primarily designed for the adult mom's & dads at the party). They all loved these little dishes and some will probably end up ordering some for themselves. Never a problem with Lenox quality.

Wow! These snoopy plates are SO CUTE! The prints are adorable and the quality is top notch. They are the kind of plates you could display on a wall if you wanted to, but I'd rather use them for eating.

These are wonderfully charming and well-made plates. They are very thick and sturdy, bordering on clunky (in a good way). The design is wonderful, with the images carved into the plates and embossed, rather than just "printed on". these are sure to delight and Snoopy/ Peanuts fan. They come in a giftable box too.

My mom has always been a huge fan of Snoopy and Woodstock, from Peanuts. So, when I saw this set of four porcelain “Chef Snoopy” accent plates, by Lenox, I knew I had to have them!There are two different, yet similar, plate designs, with two plates of each design, included in the set. Both designs depict a smiling Snoopy, with his flying companion, Woodstock, frolicking through a delectable array of snacks, including iced donuts, ice cream cones, and popcorn pieces. The main difference between the two designs is Snoopy’s entry point. In one design, he is entering the scene from the left; in the other, he is entering from the right.These accent plates are 8-inches in diameter, making them the perfect size for serving a variety of food items, from appetizers and breads to desserts. Personally, I think these plates would be absolutely perfect, to incorporate as a fun and whimsical new family birthday tradition.—They are sure to make one’s child or grandchild feel extra special, each year on his or her birthday, when he or she is served a candle-topped birthday cupcake or cake slice, upon one of these festive plates.Best of all, perhaps, these plates are microwave and dishwasher-safe!

Adorable and the perfect gift. You'll want to hang on to them as they are super cute. The Snoopy and Woodstock art on the plates come in two separate poses. This is not a run of the mill, 'slap it on the plate' print. It is high quality that will last for the life of the plate. The colors are bright and the design is tight.The plates themselves are well made. No issues with popping these in both the microwave or the dishwasher. I'll note that the packaging of these is great. The box is themed to the set and super cute. Another reason these make a great gift.You'll find multiple uses for these. I've used them as appetizer and dessert plates.

These plates are made to make anyone smile. Ours arrived in perfect, beautiful, Snoopy cuteness. We had dinner with my granddaughter the evening of the day the plates arrived. She may be 16 but the smile was evident as soon as she got to the bottom of the plate after eating her dinner. These plates are meant to be shared through having a wonderfully prepared meal or dessert served on them. They are heavy China, dishwasher safe and microwave safe. All bonuses in a busy household.These are perfect for children and adults alike. Such a great value.

$50 for 4 plates, and honestly I expected to pay more once they arrived. These are HEAVY. Not your traditional cheap ceramic or glass plates with bad printing that you think you're paying more for the copyright images on them. Nope, these are seriously firm and sturdy porcelain and feel like they could take 100 fork scrapes and still proudly display Snoopy and Woodstock. Not that I'm 100% sure I'll be eating on these, but you totally could. They're also dishwasher and microwave safe, so you don't have to put these in the display case and say "hey look at these things that are just for looks." Speaking of looks, they look absolutely great as well, which of course you'd want them to. 5/5 for me.
