I have used lens coat on all my telephoto lens. They are well made and when installed properly fit like a glove, skin tight & do not move or wrinkle. Please read the instructions and followtheir suggestions. It's important to put them on in the right order. It important to protect that expensive lens against, bump, scrapes & the sun.Joe SWF.

However, the gaps between segments are significantly larger than it would appear in the photo, and it is very difficuly to use the TC switch with the lens cover on, it requires so much force I worry about damaging something. So I am not using the last piece of the cover. The window for the TC switch does not fully expose the switch, so it is not possible to remove that as a work around.
