Very good quality light, similar to a commercial fixture. I ordered more.

I mounted the light perfectly level, but the hinge part does not seem to be level and adjusting it did not seem to help. Disappointing.

We have finally found picture lights that are quality !! Duped by several previous purchases here that would not stay adjusted, batteries that would not charge or very short usage time, and overall wastes of money.These lights are very nicely finished, smooth barrels, they plug in for reliable use, choice of light temperature and dimming, mounting is a breeze, instructions clear, great value, extra fasteners, and safe easy to unbox packaging. Our choice for photo illumination.

Bought this as a present for my daughter to light a wall hanging. Both she and I think it is very nice looking and it works well. The wiring options are a nice addition and I choose to use the cord with plug. Highly recommend to others.

This picture light was just what I was seeking. It is reasonable priced, and has a sleek design that doesn’t interfere with the frame. The light is clean and bright which is important to me to illuminate my paintings, even though it is a warm white shade it doesn’t distort the colors of the paintings. The bulb is not replaceable so when it goes you’ll have to buy a whole new unit. But it’s an LED lamp so that should be in a dozen years or so. The cord is long too. That’s important of course if you have large paintings. Easy to install. My order came quickly. I will be purchasing more of these.

The light's brighter than I require but it was the only articulating picture lamp that I could find. The fixture is solid and well made. The articulating joints are snug. The end caps of the light tube are screw-in, not cheapo push-in. The 3000k LEDs are not too 'cool' for their purpose.I don't like the look of a lamp cord intersecting and running up behind the picture frame so I've mounted the light facing upward. The cord (which is plenty long for above frame mounting) drapes across the top of the base and down the side. I've installed a piece of 1/2" corner moulding over it, making a V-shaped conduit running up from the receptacle. The cord insulation is soft and flexible enough to make this easy. It could be painted the same colour as the wall, but I've left it natural. Not ideal, but neater than an overhead mount, IMO.If installing with the wall anchors, only make the holes the diameter of the barbed end, push them in so the wider tips protrude slightly, slip the bracket over them and then install the screws snugly. This should keep the anchors from spinning if over-torqued and creates a solid fastener.

Museum quality lamps are as much as $300, a figure I spent on my electronics bench lamp with it's glass optics and bedrock base from Germany, but inappropriate for illuminating a 12 Buck Ebay (even though I spent a day making the frame) map of Middle Earth.Like others, I wish the screw holding the lamp swivel wasn't stripped and the cord white. Otherwise, the mounting was straightforward, even with the very marginal but adequate plastic mollies. 12 inches of wire mold took care of the cord color and the lamp swivel was juuust tight enough to hold it where desired.I like the styling and color and the way it illuminates the map. As a bonus it casts light just right on the turntable, brightening an otherwise dark corner. Anyone know how to photograph a lamp with a Canon A630 without getting a solar flare? ;-}
