Folders are lightweight plastic. Pretty good for storing documents or small flat things. In daily use the fold of the top flap will wear out, not immediately, but sooner than you'd expect. Also you'd want to keep them out of sunlight, that's not good for the plastic. Overstuffing them can pop the seams open, so mind how full you make them. They're a good product as long as you respect their abuse limits.

I have been using these for 2-3 years, initially for a system to keep tax related paperwork organized and easily accessible; then started using to organize other office related items. Getting more now to organize more paperwork :) They can be opened/closed repeatedly and are very sturdy. They stack on top of each other nicely and would also do well in a file cabinet. You can easily identify what's inside, even through the colored one; which is a huge plus for me. I have had no problems at all and I highly recommend them.

They are working great for me to store stamps, greeting cards, stationery, etc. Yes, I'm old school - pen and paper and snail mail! The different colors help me remember the contents. They fit nicely in a magazine holder in my bookcase, and they look nice. These won't get heavy-duty or daily use, but they seem to be well-constructed.

I bought these to store travel documents and information for an upcoming international trip. I needed someplace secure that I could store printouts of hotel reservations, information on things to see and do, and travel documents. They are really sturdy and the expandable bottom allows you to add several pages without worrying about creasing them. I love that they are waterproof and that the top is able to be closed with a tie down so if it gets upended, nothing falls out. It is nice that they are transparent, too. A great buy for a very versatile tool.

I bought these for my Mother (age 94) to help her organize her documents that were cluttering an entire dresser drawer and taking too much of her time finding what she needed. The colors are great and offer a lot of possibilities -(I got her similar colors in checkbook covers from another supplier to help keep check registers, bank statements, paid bills easier to locate-by color!). The string tie is great because it is easier for her hands to use than clasps, and they can be used again and again! These poly envelopes expand to give more room than just a kraft envelope, and the opaque materials allows you to identify what is inside without dragging the contents out to inspect. My Mom is excited about using these envelopes and I have decided to order more for myself!

Handy for storing and transporting documents. These envelopes do NOT have the inner folder to hold CD's, which is a big plus. The envelopes with the CD pockets catch on papers you're trying to insert. These are fairly durable. However, over time and with many uses, the string to secure the envelope closed will break. All in all, a good product at a fair price.
