Exceeded expectations. The photos/other reviews gave me a pretty good idea what I would receive (fingers crossed) and they were correct PLUS I thought the colors were even prettier than expected.It’s that soft “scarf” fabric, not sure how else to describe. Almost a bit fleece like. So warm and cozy and very soft.Embroidery has a “front” and “back” - both look good actually! I see a few very short strings on the back, but they blend in. I’d wear either way, but front is denser embroidery and brighter looking. Front had no stray strings. (I mention only because other reviews mentioned strings)Size is what I hoped, like standard Amazon “pashmina” shawls, that’s how I’m wearing this one.I got the tree of life pattern in black. I might get a second shawl.

I’m in love with all the designs from the brand. They’re warm and gorgeous. Bought it as gifts and oh my, everyone was so excited. Totally worth it!!

I was really impressed by the beauty and softness of this shawl until I looked at the back and saw that there were many, many loose threads. I wouldn't mind trimming them, but the problem is that the chain stitch embroidery pulls out with the slightest touch. I can't even lift the thread to get a close trim without pulling out stitches. I tried stabilizing them with a tiny dot of fabric glue, but that is both a long shot and very time consuming. Normally, this kind of embroidery is backed with a stabilizer. That would not look good on a shawl, and I don't have another solution besides hand finishing them and raising the price. It is such a shame! If this were not a Vine item, I would return is. As it is, I will do my best to find a solution as I have time to work on it. I may end up just trimming the threads as close as possible and accepting that it will not last very long.

I ordered the Spring Wishing, Light Grey and it's absolutely beautiful. At 73"x27" I'd call it a shawl vs. a scarf, though I suppose a big woman might carry it off as a scarf. The embroidery is lovely feminine white and pastel green and peachy pink on a soft gray background. The gray fabric itself is some sort of medium-weight polyester that reminds me of brushed flannel. No one will mistake it for cashmere, but it's very soft. The fringes look to be part of the fabric, but it's twisted to look like yarn vs. some sort of flat cut fringe. Very elegant and very giftable. Perfect shawl for a cool night. Definitely eyeing a black one if I can decide which version I like best.

I did not expect to get what I received in the mail today. This is probably the most beautiful shawl I have ever seen in my entire life. It’s a very good size, but not too large to also act as a scarf with a winter coat. It could be wrapped around the shoulders with a beautiful dress too, and it would look absolutely stunning. The fabric is incredibly soft. And I mean SOFT!! Ever had a scarf that makes you itch? Yeah, me too. Well this will not. You’re going to love having this wrapped around your neck. The one I got has flower embroidery all throughout it and it’s beautiful. I wish I had better words to describe this but the scarf is absolutely stunning. The embroidery is done perfectly and the scarf is so well-made. It looks like something you would find at Hermès. I can’t say enough good about this and I’m honestly thinking about getting more in different colors.

The fabric itself is super soft and warm. The embroidery is clean and seems like it won't snag or come undone easily. This feels much more expensive than it was. Only downside is the tag says to dry clean.

Even prettier in person than pictured online. It has an old-time charm to it that you don’t see in a lot of stuff nowadays. It is huge and moreso what I’d consider a shawl, but functional for keeping you warm while stylish just the same. Material seems to be quality and the embroidery is well done. Overall, I’m more than happy with it and would gladly recommend it to anyone if these are your style. Thumbs up.

I love the look and feel of this scarf, which has embroidered crewel patterns on it. It is very soft. Since it is a synthetic polyester fabric, it can get hot since it doesn't breathe like wool or cotton. It is also the type of fabric that will get pilled with wear, but that will take a bit. It's very pretty and will do nicely as a shawl for cool nights or a daily-wear winter scarf for a season or two.
